Will there be a Genshin Impact 2.9?

There will be no Version 2.9

Similar to how Version 1.7 was changed to Version 2.0, Genshin Impact will skip Version 2.9 completely and jump straight to Version 3.0. Genshin released official teasers of the new region of Sumeru!

The official YouTube Genshin account revealed the sneak peek of the Dendro Traveler and the Dendro Element coming in Version 3.0. Genshin also released info about the Sumeru region and its characters in the two other trailers.
