    For my case, leave the place and find other mechanism and change it into Evernight state

    Same for me, no sigils, and the guide didn't work. I think it's #9 it says change the right mechanism to dark, and that would trap you. I triggered the left one, so I could go to the area behind the gate, but the sigils never appeared.
