It's weird that a Certain Character is not on one of Ayato's Recommended teams, so I'll just go ahead and say it, You can Replace Bennett For Yun JIn since both of them can Provide the Major Dmg Boost that Ayato Needs. This way, you can free Up Bennett for your 2nd Team(You can use both of them with Ayato too to further boost his Dmg)
At this point of time losing a 50/50 isn't a bad thing. A guaranteed Yelan/Kazuha will be coming.

Overrated
5. AR45 noob who played for less than 2 months and got Ayato as first 5 star. Some players don't have better DPS.
I just take blizzard set from my Kaeya, give it Ayato and clear abyss for 36*. My team was Ayato (80 lvl, all talents 8 lvl, sword from BP)/Kaeya/Rozaria/Zhongli. Use as second team. Feels good, don't have any problem with DMG, have a lot of crit numbers around me, was fun. But i have a nice stats on this set: a lot of crit dmg and attack%.
Why recommending Echoes over Depth? You want to use him for his water skills.
Has anyone tried Ayato Blizzard for frozen reaction? Idk this is good or not
The reason is vary: 1. They want to use Ayato because of his gameplay 2. Bored with another DPS 3. Want to play Hydro DPS 4. Ayato lover
Why use Ayato as main DPS when those current supporting characters are better off pairing with other main DPS?
Nice and fun character to play. I run out of primo for Venti getting him on soft pity. I aimed for more Yun Jin C, and I ended up with Ayato on 10th wish. Happy getting him, so fun to play.
I'll get both, Ayato is already home. Jadecutter is pretty good on him. What you should consider is what gameplay you prefer. In Ayato's rotation there's a downtime in form of cd on his E - perfect for switching teammates and getting their moves of. Ayato is extremely variable in possible team compositions since Hydro enables most reactions. Ayaka on the other hand you can play as long as you want. Dodge to invoke Cryo and deal Cryo dmg constantly sounds like amazing gameplay.
Jade cutter is very competetive with Ayato's Main Gacha weapon! Just slap in on him, and use a few off field sub-dps characters like Fischl or XL
There are so many good supporting characters what do you mean. Idk why you want a cryo catalyst specifically for Ayato also. Not everyone needs a thrilling tales weapon buff if you can just rum ToM
Ayato can be a good DPS. The only problem now is lack of good supporting characters for him. The game got no cyro catalyst user who can provide perma freeze. We also need a cryo version Bennett for Ayato.
