I agree. I think what we desperately need right now, more than anything after Yelan, is a Pyro Sub DPS who has a kit similar to Yelan and is also a 5 star. It would allow for a lot better comps imo, not just Pyro appliance but also damage wise.
Just to answer this, it's probably because they already had a rating for him based on what they've seen in the test server(?) maybe
he's more flexable and he can be stronger abd greatly buffs party
because his water skills come from his normal attaks and echoes greatly boosts character's normal attaks.
Bruh, where Yun Jin? He deals insane damage when paired with her. Actually Yun Jin is so much better for Ayato than Bennett since Bennett only provides marginal damage increase, while Yun Jin can boost his attacks significantly.
Make her burst heal like Diona's burst and you'd have the ultimate character 6 star
Also to make it Clear as well, I say 55% for 4 Pc Glad cause I added it's 4 PC Passive with Ayato's NA Dmg Bonus from Burst(35% + 20%). I couldn't fit in everything I wanted to say in one reply so had to delete some bits and split my reply up
, but is it really worth it to ruin rotations and waste a lot of time just to get that slight increase in damage? I don't think so. But, it could work. If you're not caught up in Abyss where Faster Clear Times is rewarded, and don't have to worry about Rotations much, then go use Shim on him :)
Because Ayato's burst has a NA Dmg Bonus as well. Shim requires 15 energy to activate the passive for 10 secs and then goes on CD for 20 Secs. Due to that, it'll take around 2 to 3 rotations before Ayato can fully maximize his Dmg (Having Shim Buff + Burst Buff up) which takes up a lot of time just to get a bonus 20% Increase. Ayato with 4 PC Glad + Burst has a 55% NA Dmg Bonus so the 1st and 2nd rotation Shim is no Better than a 4 Pc Glad but that 3rd Rotation is for sure gonna be big
Why no one is talking about putting shimenawa set on him? It gives a greater NA boost than any other set. Also u can farm for Emblem set for his supports
also i am using mistsplitter on him idk if that makes a difference either. I vowed to never do weapon banner so I dont have his signature but i thought “why not?” this time since it’s such a versatile sword and it wouldn’t be awful to get the unforged since I also have eula and zhongli :’) Ended up with 2 in 40 wishes (+ayaka in 30 more on a 50/50???) so I’m sitting pretty at the moment lol.
I feel like this guy is deceptively good, i thought his damage seemed too low and wondered what i was doing wrong but adding up every hit from his skill ends up being quite a lot (especially in only 6 seconds), idk if i’d say he’s broken like ganyu hu tao etc but he definitely is a solid DPS belonging in S tier at least. Though i only have him c0 lol
No. He's using NA for his Skill (not Physical DMG), and Favonia's passive isn't actually helped him (another weapons are still a big deal for him). . You can craft Amenoma or Iron Sting (if you want to play Vape/Melt) for Ayato, and save your Favonia for Ocean-Hued Qiqi or Jean
would the Aquila Favonia be alright on him?
But for me is a winning side. I don't want to farm EM on VV again (hellish than another artifacts), and i still don't know about the new archer scaling percentage
