How to Unlock Tatara Tales: Data Collection
Complete the Prerequisites
You can unlock Tatara Tales: Data Collection by completing the previous subquest, Tatara Tales: Purification Device, and waiting for one server reset! This means that you cannot do more than one Tatara Tales subquest in a single day!

Talk to Xavier
After a server reset, talk to Xavier again in his quarters nearby the Mikage Furnace. He tells you that the Sensory Beacons you've installed during the Priority Investigation quest are now ready for harvest!
Retrieve the Beacon
With this, Xavier marks your map of the locations of the three beacons you installed previously. Simply visit each location to retrieve the beacon!

| 1 |  Beacon 1 is surrounded by the same enemies (Kairagi: Fiery Might, Kairagi: Dancing Thunder) but you can snatch it and make a run for it if you wish. |
| 2 |  The Cryo Cicin Mage, Anemoboxer Vanguard, and Mirror Maiden are still guarding Beacon 2 as well. As with Beacon 1, you can immediately pick it up, or defeat the enemies before retrieving it! |
| 3 |  Finally, get Beacon 3 back from the top of the floating Forge platform. |
Talk to Xavier
After retrieving all three Beacons, report back and talk to Xavier in his quarters. He then tells you about the oddity of the Fatui recently.

Tatara Tales: Data Collection is a subquest of the quest, Tatara Tales, where we accompany and help Xavier fix the Mikage Furnace, and keep its Tatarigami Core from going haywire!
Tatara Tales: Data Collection is the fourth part of the Tatara Tales world quest chain. The succeeding subquests of Tatara Tales unlock after one server reset.
