How to Play the Event | |
---|---|
1 | Talk to Ulman during the unlock quest! |
2 | Use the treasure map book for treasure areas. |
3 | Bring the Treasure-Seeking Seelie to locate treasures! |
4 | Dig up iron coins and more in the areas! |
5 | Look for special treasures after getting clues for it. |
6 | Complete timed challenges for more rewards! |
In each version of the event, you need to talk to Ulman in an unlock quest. He will talk about finding Iron Coins in certain locations listed inside a Treasure Map Location. He will also temporarily lend you the Treasure-Seeking Seelie to aid you!
After talking to Ulman, you can unlock a Treasure Map where you'll need to explore an area with the Treasure-Seeking Seelie. One or two location areas usually update every day for a certain number of days!
You can equip the Treasure-Seeking Seelie from the gadgets section of your inventory. Note that the Treasure-Seeking Seelie will only come out in the Treasure Map locations.
The main feature in all versions is to dig up something in an area. Originally, you'd be looking around the area until the seelie starts glowing brighter, and you see the dig button appear.
In Version 1.2 and in Version 2.0, as you dig in, you either get a time trial challenge you can do in co-op mode, Iron Coins, or a treasure chest!
In Version 3.0, instead of looking for treasures you can immediately dig, you need to look for energy emissions first before the location of the treasure is marked on the map. On the location will be a challenge you need to complete first before getting a chest!
Special Treasure clues are dug up with Iron Coins in Treasure Areas. Once complete, they show a picture of a specific area in Teyvat, and you'll have to find that location and complete a challenge. If successful, you'll get Primogems and other rewards!
In Version 2.0, as you complete the Treasure Areas an image of the Special Treasure will appear and once you have the full image of the area or guessed the location based on a few clues, you can head towards it. Once there, you need to solve a puzzle to get the reward!
After finding all the Iron Coins in an area, a Challenge may appear. Defeat the enemies within the time limit to obtain rewards! This Time Challenge appeared in the first and second versions of this event.
In Version 1.2 and Version 2.0, You can also Co-op with a friend and complete a Challenge in their world to collect rewards. This can be done a total of three times throughout the event. If you need more Event Buddies, check out our Co-Op Boards!
