he is simply overrated thats it. he falls from each hit down in flight and is stunned, his solo non reaction dmg is not bigger than on most anemo chars and also not with reactions, his flight is so short it's not "super great for exploration" (especially if you got venti its enough) he is basically yanfei as anemo , same damage , same clicking over and over again normal and charged attacks. nothing special
traveler and aloy also won't suck and people claim it. everyone can be great if you build them great. thing is wanderer is overhyped just like nahida, there are substitutes, anemo ones with big numbers as well . dps venti can compete, xiao can compete , even jean can compete

Guys take him with c6 Faruzan and c4 Jean with Kazuha sub dps and he ll do 20k per hit easy, look at faruzan and jean anemo res decrease its insane. He is not good for reaction team cuz of his bad resistance to interruption in mid air he is easly frozen, burned, or stun. He is made for mono anemo team like Itto for geo. But of course Xiao in this same anemo team is better then him :) and ofc not everyone got jean c4

Mihoyo is just trying to attract dumb to pay for average characters. Don't ever fall for it.
Imagine need Reations to get full potential, bad for solo and bosses. Imagine need Faruzan in team, a huge DPS loss. Imagine need a Shielder to not get shoot down, another huge DPS loss. Imagine need Bennett, affect others comp that need him. Wanderer worst 5* confirmed?
Lesson: never pull Harbingers for meta because despite their hype, they suck. Only Archons are worth the hype, not sure about Dainsleif.
Only noob will pull average character.

Oh yeah, and "About him" (except Nahida) will vanish after doing Archon Quest. Be careful~ ((Tbh, reset/delete plot troupe make me afraid about another villain characters redemption))
He is really fun to play, I enjoy it!! He became one of my favorites character after the archon quest
Even his stans are annoying before, but i want to honest about him. Even he promoted as mono main-DPS (i mean, he got new exclusive artifacts and normal attack-based signature weapon), but his kits are preferable on elemental reaction. He got some caveats when flying (hard to use, and lower dps after landing), and his personal dmg output aren't high but too fast imo. Instead his new artifacts, 4pc VV with full investment is more preferable imo, because he still need reaction..
