Wanderer (Scaramouche) Best Build and TeamsComment

Wanderer is the reason i like this game, i mean, this game isn't meta oriented, but sometime, exploration are needed. For example, we have character for meta purpose, while we can have character for explore purpose. Neuvi can be SS for meta, but Wanderer are SS for exploring. Maybe this is a reason why this game has low powercreep level (still have it, but not hard as another games in same developer)

wanderer has pros and cons with travelling, like if u want to be able to get back up if u run out of stamina venti's wind current lasts a while, and kazuha actually recovers stamina in midair, xiao can make gliding faster (wouldn't gliding be faster?). the main con of wanderer's skill for exploring is you cant use it in midair, but you can go higher than venti's wind current. its like a really stupid con yk like you cant put albedos skill ontop of other constructs

The biggest misstake I did with Scaramouche was using shield. It got boring so I played him for months without cuz, well he was mostly to make the world funnier, not only one shots. The free dodge (20k dmg buffed) spammed makes only homing or some aoe able too hit him. Few ranged atks with no delay, stomp or projectiles or rushes is instant and he will kill all in a huge aoe around him without aiming needed in 9s. Immortal and wide range homing aoe. Getting hit is so rare if you use the dodges

Ok my c1+lost prayer Wanderer (random arts for stats, WT and glad, 2194atk 86/186 80EM) are triple crowned but sig+arts would make him comparable to my other DPS in terms of investment (Xiao, Tao, Navia, Tignari, all sig better arts, crowns etc) loses to Scaramouche now. Key is my supporters, HOTM+Elegy Faru then Bennet (sap,noblesse 36k hp) and Yelan (emblem, 200ER 36K HP). This bring him over with 4.2-4.4k atk. With 100 anemo bonus. Only counters survive one flight. Highest single dps by far

Do we get rid of Bennet for Xingqiu for higher dps? How does Furina come into play, do her ATK buffs in anyway run up the wanderers dps even more? Or is Faruzan still best in slot for improving DPS. Need some math people / content creators to come up with new comps, as well as consideration for Xianyun!

>>315 2 months late but your main issue is no BENNETT!!! Swap him for Xingqiu ASAP!!!! You will see huge dmg increase. Hope your Scaramouche is doing better now :) If you are good at dodging/ are speedrunning boss you can swap Layla for Yun Jin too, but he will die easily. Lol

He is must to have character of the game. He will decrease your travel/play time. Especially if you hate stamina system, climbing; he will make the game more fun. Don't mind who is better dps. He is not best but he is great one and will improve your overall gameplay. This game is not just about who hits higher. Also, He has fun gameplay and he is a decent dps.

>>315 kindly check his atk should be atleast 1800 for better damage, balance out the crit; run it between 60-70:150++ cause if he got cryo he will have cr increase so no need to shower him with excessive cr. lvl up ur skill (if ur onfield more in that phase) and Improve ur supports as well

You should aim for high crid damge 180 minimum

does anyone have advice for higher dps? my c1 wanderer is only doing 10-20k dmg at level 90 (team w faruzan, xingqiu, layla), he has a lvl 90 r1 widsith and 83/139 crit. a lot of people in the comments are getting 40-80k and idk what i'm doing wrong lol :') his talents are 8, 6, and 5 but idk if that's my primary issue.

I think pure theory craft easily miss how you got no downtime in his dps, small numbers but consistent low downtime for travel and atking due to great animation with aoe. I don't even have his arts or weapon but when you don't have downtime, the dps still seems solid compared to any of my S/SS m. Ganyu, Ayata, Tao, all with sig weps all do higher dmg per atk but, less atks per unit of time in most fights. Smaller numbers but homingu, aoe and faster.

Managed to get the boy to C6 R1 this banner with my savings and I’m so dang happy! Got three doubles back to back too! Cant wait to complete his build so he can absolutely dominate in open world and abyss!

I'm so happy I got his sig weapon I was able to dish out 40k each for na1 and na2 and 30k x2 for his na3 (this 40k,40k,30k,30k damage is dealt for one attack rotation sequence, around 1sec) around approximately 1sec) but my charge attack is now lower since with widsidth i got 70k charge attack but with his sig I got 60k; normal attack still outshines charged attack in terms of DPS along side with the attack speed buff from artifacts and sig weapon.

I like how ppl argue wanderer is A while cyno is just sitting there lol being A tier doesn't mean the character is bad it means it needs a lot of investment wanderer only does 30~ CA alone with a lot of investment 80~ with all of his supports built it's not worth the time but hey if you like the character and build him good it's SSS for you

Just 36 starred the abyss with Wanderer in the first half team, gotta say my sanity almost ran out.
