There was a Version Update Maintenance for Genshin Impact on November 10, 2020 from 17:00 (UTC -5) for America and 23:00 (UTC +1) for Europe.
Please take note that during this time, players are not able to log in to the game.
Also keep in mind that server times may vary depending on your respective timezone.

How to Update Game
| PC | Close the game, re-open the launcher, and click Update. |
|---|---|
| iOS | Go to the App Store and tap Update. |
| Android | Open the game and follow the prompts to complete the update. (Or go to the Google Play Store and tap Update.) |
| PS4 | Highlight Genshin Impact on the PS4 Home Screen > press the OPTIONS button > select Check for Update. |
Compensation
300 Primogems
60 Primogems will be given as compensation for each hour the servers are down for a total of 300 Primogems.
If the servers go back online sooner than schedule, full compensation shall still be given.
Eligibility
All Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 5 or above by November 10, 2020 17:00 (UTC -5) for America and 23:00 (UTC +1) for Europe.
Compensation will be issued to all eligible Travelers via in-game mail within 5 hours from the end of maintenance. Log in by November 14, 2020 11:00 to receive the rewards before they expire.

With the upcoming update, new content will be added to the game. Check out all the changes here!

Dear Travelers,
To bring you the best-possible Genshin Impact experience, the developers will soon perform version update maintenance, during which the servers will be down. After the update maintenance, a brand-new version will be available.
After downloading the new version of the game, Travelers will be able to experience the new content. As the update size is rather large, we recommend you download the update while connected to Wi-Fi.
While the update maintenance is in progress, Travelers will be unable to log in to the game. Please take note of the update time and schedule your game time accordingly to avoid losing your progress. We hope Travelers will bear with us during the disruption.
