bolide shield only applies to wearer. it won't apply to other characters.
Anyone know if 2pc Bolide (35% shield strength increase) affect Zhongli's Jade Shield? If so, does the effect stay active after switching character?
Ningguang DPS is good to pair with him Ningguang get benefit from 2 Geo team comp Zhongli's get benefit from Ningguang's Jade screen to boost his Planet Befall Ningguang + Zhongli + Any Pyro Sub DPS + Bennett is a really nice comp if focusing DPS on Ningguang and have Zhongli as Nuker + Shield buffer
With the buff coming and the release of the Dragonspine, I really like the direction I take. I use the new spear which increase physical damage, since he doesn’t necessarily transform all damage to geo damage, having a physical damage sub stat on weapon is a pretty big bonus. I use Retracing Bollide, with goblet geo damage, hp sands and crit damage circlet he can do some big damage ult. This setup also works with the buff since passive 2 increases damage by 1.39% hp
what about prototype grudge?
ningguang's jade screen resonates with zhongli's pillars, and the geo dmg buff from jade screen will also make the meteor hit harder
I main ningguang as DPS, and now I have zhongli. does anyone know how to use these two together?
He can take like no damage from bosses and can continuously ult for damage also you can switch out to main dps with his shield and keep them from taking damage. Is why I'm guessing.
Where is his weakiness
I think the Bolide 4 set works good on him, due the 40% attack with shield and this husbando always create a shield.
No time limit on boss fights, so his sustained gameplay helps. This is due to his 100% uptime shield. You are almost immortal.
focusing on hp and energy recharges works well! hes kinda like venti but in a defensive play, but the burst damage is kinda good too
his shield is really good and can tank almost all attacks, and refreshes fast too! its like having ningguang's jade screen but to all attacks on our body. Best used as sub DPS with energy recharge, Hp, and crit rate and crit damage focus IMO
hes very odd to use, his primary attack string is quick and can combo nicely with his burst, but his skills scaling off of hp and his atk makes him an odd ball to get sets for as both highly benefit him and going solely for one or the other doesnt really work out great imo
How is against boss SS when his petrify cant work against them and his pillars don't work in certain boss fields too. Boss is like a B.

Totally husbando material. Going to save all my Intertwined Fates for this guy.
