If you've been to Liyue Harbor before starting this quest, you should be able to complete this quest quickly.
If not, you can take this time to make your way to Liyue Harbor and activate some waypoints on the way.
After completing this quest, you should be able to receive daily commissions in the Liyue region.

I personally went for Barbara instead. DPS wise she ain't the best but her heals more than make up for it. Especially since they constantly apply Hydro to enemies around you, and you can spam Diluc's Skill for all your Vaporizing needs. So far, it's worked out just fine for me
