it is enough actually. with cancel animation diluc is able to do all 8 buffed plunges before vv shred effect and bennett ult disappears. their cooldown match so well with eo too. do you even know to play diluc properly?
yeah and that leads them to have the same time in single target situations, do note that the higher the hp threshold, the more it benefits Xiao
still not enough to fast dash cancel and if you're talking about "speedrunning" you should know that the combo takes some time to do because of extra animations.
overall in speedrunner tend to ignore focusing on pure application for reaction, even for gaming who is slower than diluc. just a combo of buffed plunge from diluc + furinas herself can dish out great dmg already.
diluc doesnt need to be as fast as xiao just consistenly hitting big number could end things fast as well.
using n1 xianyun after bennett qn1 solved this. n1 xianyun will remove pyro allowing furina to apply hydro faster
Unlike Diluc, Hu Tao is played in double hydro teams which make it easier to vape all hits. Hu Tao's CA hits also have no internal cooldown (plunges don't too). Furina applies enough hydro to vape all 8 hits within the duration of your rotation but you just can't dash cancel and plunge as fast as Xiao during the sequence when Furina's ICD problem becomes transparent (this is the example of a character damaging with an element but not causing an application). If you do, you lose vapes

I have no problem to vape with plunge diluc. same as many other diluc users on youtube. furina application is actually very manageable with good timing. its not like plunge diluc is fast like c1 pure CA hu tao where only xq could keep up with her. xl is not in dilucs team either. so just diluc and furina where they actually aligns well.
Are you serious? He can vape all hits only if you time your plunges according to Furina's application speed and ICD. Timing would be messed up if you straight up dash cancel every plunge. Like I'm actually asking? Did you even play him at all?

Well there are such things called "reaction" and "application" you are going to vape 1 out of 8 hits if you straight up fast animation cancel every plunge
Claymore users have easist time to animation cancel and plunge. This just saying plunge Diluc could actually do better on good hands.
They literally state that animation cancels can't be taken into account for the calculations because it must simply be tested in-game for it to be calculated properly. This is why making your own calculations with the damage formula is far more reliable

Xiao has the same dps as Hu Tao and Alhaitham while having significantly higher dpr. Dpr isn't a bad metric and it is equal to dps in value since one rotation will always be superior to 2 rotations unless it is double its time
