If you were a new player into the games, you used your hard-earned money for a character and after that you find out you have to pull for 2 more to be able to function what is that feel like ?
Can you even count how many Nahida teams out there? They have many teammates options unlike Skirk only function in one kind of playstyle is Freeze, furthermore her kit tailor made to pair with Escoffier and Escoffier is tailor made to pair with Furina, if these both don't exist in your account then Skirk will only be an A tier character, meanwhile if you pulled for Neuvillette and he is an SS from the get-go
Damn the simps war between Midvuika and Skuirk goes hard here, meanwhile Chadsca fly above them, unreachable taking zero damage, destroy everything with no need of specific heroes for her to be OP
People seem to don't understand what team restriction is. ALL characters need teammates, ALL characters have some ways restriction, but some is way more restrictive than others. Nahida can't resonate with Anemo, Zhongli basically is a wheelchair, Furina needs Healer to be able to function, Mavuika needs Natlanese to charge her burst. Those are all restrictions, but these characters got rated so high not only because of they are strong but also because of they are VERSATILE.
The arguement started from Skirk fans that said Skirk isn't team restricted she "only" needs Escoffier, and then they said that Mavuika needs natlan characters to be good, and if i defends this i would be called Mavuika simp ?

majorly bcz the abyss buffs were related to bond of life and hp fluctuation
yeah just like how neuvillette and arllechino were the best ones like 6 patches ago(but they still dominate)
I can easily say mav is a mid DPS if both sides of abyss has say a pyro lector, so make sure to not use calcs as as argument on who is a better DPS. I think the best way to define a best DPS is whoever is just getting shilled in abyss. And right now its Mav and Skirk so they are the best for now.
numbers aren't everything...
there is no such thing as the best dps even the top 10 or even top 15 best dps's can oblitrate everything if anyone is not able to, then it's skill issue
But most people only care about DPS on calcs that they just ignore enemy matchups, thats why majority of the people think the number1 DPS is the highest on calcs especially casuals.
If we are only talking about DPS, ignoring enemy mechanics/shields, etc. then yeah Mavuika is the highest DPS no questions asked, its already proven anyway

So even though Mav has higher damage it wont matter if enemies have a million resistance and the resistance will only go to 0 if you use a specific element.
Genshin community is so funny sometimes, arguing who is better DPS Reminder best DPS doesnt matter in genshin especially now that they are making enemies have annoying mechanics. Take the secret automaton for example, you won't kill it faster if you use a DPS that's not cryo. So even though someone like Mavuika has the highest DPS on sheets, it doesnt matter since enemy mechanics can just make her not deal damage.
also consider mav's damage depends on the enemy and her being in bennett's circle while procing melt from citlali's cyro, while skirk can just spam autos and wreck people
