she definitely does. when you only have one slot for a dendro support, you would pick lauma over nahida any day
better to bring them down now since meta right now is natlan and nod-krai characters (and gaming for some reason). alhaitham and navia would soon go down too by the time flins/nefer/columbina arrives.

nahida was fine in ss why she got down, lauma didnt powercreep her in any way, I tested both as I have lauma and nahida and I tried swapping my nahida and lauma, and had same clear times
they finally fixed the tier list and put zhongli and nahida down to S tier. I still feel like some of the new A tier characters should stay in S.
pretty sure sucrose would be the best, but clorinde/fischl aren't bad
Sucrose is good for the EM and another source of triggering hyperbloom when she swirls electro. Fischl is also good, for her insane personal damage and electro application. Electro application actually helps with bloom core generation, because quicken counts as another dendro aura. I've also seen some people use Clorinde/Alhaitham in more EM focused builds, because they both have insane personal damage.
with lauma, xingqiu, kuki core, who do i use for the last slot without yelan?
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too and hearing from all the tcs. Nahida‘s just not gonna be used (in end game content) and considered any meta relevant unless you put both her and Lauma in the same team. Basically, rn Nahida’s any left usage is hard carried by having Lauma in your team who does most of the work and resurrects dendro. And as some people already said, best current dendro team in the game is Lauma, Yelan, Xingqiu, and Raiden. I love Nahida, but SS tier makes zero sense :(
None of these teams are meta relevant or strong enough to beat stygian unless you have Lauma
lauma can't do aggravate though, and quickbloom clorinde is mid compared to agg/overload
she's still pretty flexible, she works with hyperbloom, nilou, neuvi, alhaitham/cyno/clorinde(quickbloom), burgeon, and pure bloom
it's day one guys. I'd chill as game8 will probably wait a couple more days before adjusting the list for Nahida.
there's no fucking way nahida belongs in the same tier as lauma, she does much more than nahida, even if she's less flexible
Best dendro team in the game is Lauma hyperbloom and it doesn’t have or need Nahida at all. And all Nilou bloom teams are revived because of Lauma too, Nahida is far from needed there, you can put another good hydro in the team and the difference is barely noticeable
Well, because whoever made this tier list is Nahida simp or still coping. There isn’t really any good reason for her to be there in 2025 and after Lauma’s release. All she has going for her rn is the best dendro application in the game, and there’s not a single character who needs that much of it and utilises it fully. Lauma does everything else 2x better
lauma does better off field damage than nahida and a better driver than nahida. Best dendro team in the game currently is lauma - yelan - xingqiu - raiden, about 110K dps. My point stands, why is nahida in ss tier?
because lauma doesnt overtake nahida's sub-dps role too. lauma fits better as support. you pair them together with nilou even lol.
