Tracing the Footsteps of the Past Walkthrough
Wait for the Next Directive
After a lengthy cutscene between the ending of the Where Our Time and Space Intersect and the start of Tracing the Footsteps of the Past quest, players will need to control Pulonia to help Sandrone find documents to help defeat The Doctor.
Collect the Correct Document
Move Pulonia around to gather the notes around the desks surrounding Sandrone. Players may scan all the books until they find a highlighted keyword, which is the correct book to give Sandrone.
Hand the Document to Marionette
After choosing the book with the keyword, give the document back to Sandrone's table and wait for the next objective.
Teatime
After some time looking for documents, head to the table near the entrance of The Flagship to get some tea for Sandrone. You can make some tea by clicking on the buttons that will prompt on your screen.
Meet Up with Childe
Once Sandrone figures out the documents of Alain Guillotin's, the focus shifts to Arlecchino asking Childe for help. She wants to evacuate the people of Nod-Krai to Snezhnaya, with the probable cause of impending doom from the evil plans of The Doctor.
Defeat the Opponents Before You
After talking to Childe, a bunch of Frostmoon Scions enemies will spawn in the distance. Use the trail character of Arlecchino and Childe to defeat all the enemies.
Enter the Energy Field
After the scenes with Arlecchino and Childe, the focus shifts to Albedo, Durin, and Wanderer. The three are investigating a weird energy field that spawned out of nowhere. They highly suspect it is the work of The Doctor.
Investigate the Energy Field
Walk around inside the energy field to investigate the surroundings. You will come upon a talking crane that will explain what happened inside the energy field. After the conversation, Albedo and the rest deduce a plan to locate The Doctor's location.
Find the Entrance to the “Memories”
Similar to the objectives in the Where Our Time and Space Intersect Quest, move forward to find the golden aura on the ground, and use Columbina's charged attack to let it show you the golden path to follow.
Touch the Mysterious Power
After following the golden path, touch the mysterious power at the end of it to try and open another mirror to another scenario in Columbina's past.
Gather the Mysterious Fragments
Gather the mysterious fragments by aiming Columbina's charged shot to grab the floating golden feathers. Do not grab the corrupted feathers as these will reset the current set.
Enter the World in the Mirror
Enter the mirror where you can relive the moment the Traveler was about to set foot on Hiisi Island. That moment is when Luunotar first appeared in front of the Traveler and Paimon.
