How to Unlock Moonless Night
Complete Melting Moonlight in the Morning Mist Quest
The Moonless Night is unlocked after completing the Return to the Moon Archon Quest, which is also the final part of the Melting Moonlight in the Morning Mist Archon Quest Chain.

Moonless Night Walkthrough
Visit the Curatorium of Secrets
Head to the Curatorium of Secrets in the middle of Nasha Town to start planning how to confront The Doctor.
Upon arriving at the door of the Curatorium, a lengthy cutscene will occur where Nefer, Lauma, Flins, Jahoda, Varka, Aino, and Ineffa will divide the group into two and execute their plan.
Enter The Doctor's Research Facility
After all the planning, the Traveler will enter a special story phase after talking to Nefer. Then, you will be teleported near The Doctor's Research Facility.
The Doctor's Research Facility is a domain, and once you go inside, you will have a trial character of Nefer, Flins, and Lauma. Additionally, there will be no healer character that will be given to you so except for the C3 Lauma trial character.
Look for a Way Forward
Once you enter The Doctor's Research Facility, go thorugh the corridors and find The Doctor inside. There will also be the Wilderness Exile, Oprichniki, and Frostmoon Scion enemies that need to be defeated to progress through.

| 1 | Follow the corridor and defeat the Wilderness Exile that will spawn along your way. Keep following the corridor until you enter a big room with a huge glass, and a short cutscene will occur. There will also be a wooden chest located on the right side of the corridor. |
| 2 | Defeat the Frostmoon Scion enemies to get the keycard for the locked door. Then, use the surrounding kuuvahki to lift the card and insert it into the slot before the locked door. |
| 3 | Follow the corridors once more and climb up to the vents to progress further. You will need to follow the corridor until you reach a small room, where you will encounter an Oprichniki running away from something. Another short cutscene will occur where you will interrogate the Oprichniki about The Doctor. |
| 4 | After the cutscene with the interrogation, continue progressing through the corridor and defeat the Wilderness Exile that will block your way. You can also pick up heal orbs along the way to heal your whole party. |
| 5 | Jump down the platform and defeat the remaining Frostmoon Scions around the area. Then, head to the next platform to continue. Additionally, there will be a precious chest in the next corridor after defeating the Frostmoon Scion. |
| 6 | Climb up the vents until you see a passageway downwards. Once you see it, jump down and head to the circular area in the middle to confront The Doctor. There will also be a cutscene after you reach the circular area in the middle. |
Fight The Doctor
After the cutscene, you will be forced to fight The Doctor immediately. There is also a special mechanic in defeating The Doctor. Rest assured, it will only need a Lunar Bloom reaction, which is very easy to do with all the given trial characters.
At half HP, a trial Arlecchino will join your party, placing her in the 5th slot. Then, at almost 75% HP, The Doctor will fully heal himself back to full HP. Making it impossible to defeat The Doctor at this point.
Escape The Doctor's Research Facility
After The Doctor fully heals himself back to 100%, a cutscene occurs where all of you will try to escape him. Unfortunately, the Doctor will capture the Traveler and take him hostage as the rest of the team barely escapes.
