The best place you can achieve the Mine Now, Friend achievement is in the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau.

This location in Nod-Krai has the highest concentration of Fatui enemies, which also include the Oprichniki—the specific enemy you need to fight to do this achievement.

There are three requirements to achieve to meet the conditions to do this achievement. This is a mechanic exclusive to Nod-Krai due to the mechanics needed to do the objective.

Get into an Empowered State

Genshin Impact - Mine Now Friend Achievement - Empowered State

The first thing you have to do is to be in an area where you can be Empowered. Look out for Cleaning Bots that empowers the Traveler with red energy.

This is the most important requirement to do, as this will enable the hidden mechanic when you fight against some Fatui enemies here.

Fight the Oprichniki

Genshin Impact - Mine Now Friend Achievement - Fight Oprichniki

Speaking of enemies, while empowered you have to be fighting a specific kind of Fatui found only in Nod-Krai—the Oprichniki.

All of their weapons are considered Bipolar Objects, meaning while empowered they can be interacted with.

Wait for Quick-Time Event Prompt

Genshin Impact - Mine Now Friend Achievement - Special Quick-Time Event

Fighting the Oprichniki while Empowered will occassionally show a special prompt above their heads when they attack while the Traveler is Empowered.

To get the Mine Now, Friend achievement, you have to successfully do the prompt and steal an Oprichniki's weapon from their hand.

Steals some Oprichniki's weapons

Stealing the Oprichniki's weapons only works on the smaller types. Once their weapon is stolen, they will be forced to fight you through hand-to-hand combat afterwards.

・Oprichniki Support Trooper
・Oprichniki Grenadier
・Oprichniki Vanguard
・Oprichniki Medic
・Oprichniki Bombadier

Stuns larger Oprichniki

While a prompt will also show over a larger Oprichniki, their weapons cannot be stolen due to their size and weight. Instead, using Bipolar energy on them will stun them momentarily, stopping their attack animation mid-way.
