Reach the Sniffer Moles

Genshin - Approach Sniffer Mole

When you first reach the area, you will encounter the Sniffer Mole either burrowed on the ground or semi-visible out of the ground.

Oftentimes, they will be in possession of a piece of a unipolar mechanism that you must retrieve from them in order to solve the puzzle associated with them.

Follow the Sniffer Moles

Genshin - Follow Mole

Solving this puzzle simply requires you to follow and catch the Sniffer Moles, similar to how you capture Weasel Thieves.

Return to the Original Mechanism Spot

Genshin - Back to Start

Once you retrieve the piece of machinery from them, return to the original spot and use the newly acquired mechanism to solve the puzzle and receive an Exquisite Chest in return.

Sniffer Moles are Nod-Krai specific creatures that seem to have an affinity for Unipolar Fields, but only interact with them by hoarding and stealing pieces of mechanism that are often required for that piece of machinery to work.
