Investigator of Ancient Ruins is located at Atocpan, in the nation of Natlan. This quest will automatically begin upon reaching the Tephric Ruins which is related to another quest, The Way Into the Mountain.

During The Way Into the Mountain Quest
You can also unlock this quest while doing the The Way Into the Mountain, as you will have an optional objective to go through the Tephric Ruins, which located at the west of the village.

Explore Fallingstar Fields
As you explore the new area, you'll come across the Fallingstar Fields and you can only unlock this quest by walking around the quest area.

Defeat the Monsters
While walking at the Fallingstar Fields, Paimon will mention that someone is calling for help due to nearby monsters. Defeat the monsters and make your way to the Tephric Ruins to rescue them.

| 1 |  As you reach the entrance of the Tephric Ruins, the door will suddenly close, requiring you to find another way inside. |
| 2 |  Use the Tatankasaurus on the left side of the door to find a way inside while sprinting. |
| 3 |  Head to the bottom of the ruins and defeat the enemies guarding the chest. Upon opening each chest in the ruins, more enemies will continue to spawn. |
| 4 |  After defeating all the enemies inside the ruins, you will unlock two Precious Chests and one Exquisite Chest. |
Talk to the Tribespeople
After clearing the enemies in Tephric Ruins, you will meet Kimosi and Nzaya outside. They will reveal the path to the top of the Skyfire Circlet, which is an entry into the volcano.
