There are 19 characters in the Anecdote Chronicles that can be found either in Mondstadt, Liyue, or Inazuma. However, they will spawn randomly and there is a daily limit of five characters you can visit per day.

A total of 45 Anecdotes can be obtained by visiting each of them, others can be encountered multiple times. They can be found in different locations or at the same location, but they will give you a different dialogue.

Visit More Than Five Characters if You Miss a Day

There are more than five characters that will spawn on your map if you miss visiting all of them the day prior. So, you can actually get more Anecdotes when you miss visiting them.

Xianyun at Liyue's Ministry of Civil Affairs

Xianyun can be seen twice near Liyue's Ministry of Civil Affairs, where you get Weekly Commissions. She is seen talking to Shenhe and another where she is talking to a couple of people.

Xianyun can be seen on top of Starsnatch Cliff on the east side of Mondstadt. She can be seen with a camera on top of the cliff.

Xianyun is located outside of Mondstadt, at the other end of the bridge where Timmie usually is.

Xianyun can be seen at Wolvendom, where she encounters Razor hunting a wild boar.

Yujing Terrace	Qingce Village

Yaoyao in Yujing Terrace

Yaoyao is located in Yujing Terrace at the northwest side, near where Madame Ping usually is. Yaoyao can be seen training her skills in front of her old master.

Yaoyao can be seen in Qingce Village with Qiqi, sitting near a cliff and overlooking the valley.

Shenhe Anecdote Location

Shenhe is located inside the Wanmin Restaurant at the east side of Liyue. She can be seen standing in front of the main window of the restaurant.

Yun Jin is located in Liyue Harbor, where Tea Master Liu Su is performing. She can be seen at this location twice, one where she is listening to the performance, and another where she meets Kaeya and Klee.

Kokomi Inside Her Secret Base

Kokomi is located in Watatsumi Island, inside her own secret base. Use the teleport waypoint south of Bourou Village, glide down to the road, and head west until you see a small cave.

Kokomi's secret base was also introduced in her story quest, Warriors' Dreams Like Spring Grass Renewing

Kazuha Sitting Near the Pool

Kazuha is located at the Sea of Clouds region of Liyue. He can be seen sitting on rock, near the round pool east of the teleport waypoint at the north of Liyue Harbor.

Kazuha can also be seen near the Statue of Seven in Sea of Clouds in Liyue. He can be seen standing on top of the mountain beside the Statue of Seven.

Kazuha is located near Dunyu Ruins, at the east waypoint, in Liyue. He can be seen standing near a cliff and he will parry with you after you talk to him.

Sucrose can be found at the Thousand Winds Temple, at the east of Mondstadt. She can be seen on top of the stone arches observing Ruin Guards and Pigeons.

Noelle Anecdote Location

Noelle can be seen in the training grounds outside of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters in Mondstadt. The training grounds are northwest of the HQ and teleport waypoint.

She can also be seen here with Jean and will give a different anecdote to you.

Fischl is located inside the library of the Knights of Favonius Headquarters, at the second floor. She can be seen here three times and she will give you a different dialogue each time.
