Complete Night-Wind Letter Act 1 Quest

You can unlock Vision of Ashen Desolation quest by completing the Night-Wind Letter, or the first quest under the Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls event!

Vision of Ashen Desolation Walkthrough

Wait until the next day (07:00 - 11:00)

Genshin - Vision of Ashen Desolation Change Time

When the quest unlocks on your server, simply change your in-game time between 07:00 - 11:00 tomorrow to start the quest.

Head to Leyla's cave

Genshin - Vision of Ashen Desolation Leyla

Return to Leyla's cave and talk to Ororon. If you forgot how to enter this location, you can simply teleport to any of the minigame event icons from the map south of the Masters of the Night-Wind (do not use the Teleport Waypoint there as that will transport you above the cave).

Use the spiritloom to weave the scroll

After some expositions about a memory of Leyla and a certain someone, talk to Citlali to restore the fragments of a peculiar looking map. See the clip above to solve the puzzle!

Upon completing the puzzle, Citlali reveals what the map is about and where it is located in Natlan. Afterwards, the quest ends.
