Strengths and Weaknesses

A Balance of Self Sustenance and Damage

In this deck, Yaoyao gets to shine brightly due to the balance of support and DMG she deals all throughout the game. While lacking in active Dendro DMG upon casting her Skill, the end-phase healing and DMG synergizes well with other summons.

Dendro application is the key to playing this deck. So long as it makes contact with Pyro, Burning can endure even to the end of the match.

How to Play Burning Summon Deck

Make Sure Opponents are Always Affected by Pyro or Dendro

We start off by playing this deck with Yaoyao and getting Yuegui on the field immediately. If you have support cards like Vanarana, Timmie, or Liben, play them out as well for the long game. Afterwards, switch to Xiangling and use her Skill.

One thing about the Burning reaction in TCG is that so long as it makes contact with Dendro, it refreshes its own duration and lasts longer in battle. In light of this, it's important to make sure that every character in the opposing deck is either affected by Pyro or Dendro.

Use Nahida's Elemental Skill for Synergy with Burning

Nahida's Elemental Skill, while costly, can actually help achieve victory quickly by targeting multiple opponents at the same time. Should you have enough dice to cover it, you can opt to switch to her and cast it.

With Nahida's Seeds of Skandha active, each time Burning occurs, they will be triggered and deal Piercing DMG to all enemies!

Keep Yuegui on the Field

While still relatively long, Yuegui lasts for 2 usages before it disappears. It would only make sense to have Yaoyao cast her Elemental Skill every chance you get. If you have it, play the Beneficent card to provide more healing with Yuegui.

Yuegui is a magnificent summon, as it not only deals Dendro DMG at the end of every phase, but also heals the party member with the lowest HP.

Reinforce Your Burning Reaction Using Bursts

Once you see Yaoyao's Energy come up to full, do not hesitate to cast her Burst. This will deal DMG upon switching characters, making for more DMG and a longer lasting Burning reaction.

Following this up with Xiangling's Burst, each time you use Yaoyao or Nahida's Skill, Pyronado will be unleashed, leading to more Burning reactions!

Should you find yourself in need of dice, the ones above may be able to help you. The most recommended card for this is The Bestest Travel Companion! While not guaranteed, Toss-Up may still give you a chance to get additional usable dice.

Covenant of Rock can be played should you have a card you wish to play at the last minute, or swap characters before ending your turn, but find yourself lacking the dice to do so.

Use Energy Cards for Emergencies

Conveniently, all characters in this deck require only 2 Energy for their Bursts. If you want to speed things along and deal more active DMG, play Starsigns or Calx's Arts to access Bursts easier, especially Yaoyao's and Xiangling's.

Quick-Swap Cards Synergize Well with Yaoyao's Burst

Leave it to Me!	Changing Shifts

Taking Yaoyao's Burst into account, cards that enable quick-swapping such as Leave it to Me! and Changing Shifts will work wonders for dealing active DMG during a phase.

Once instance that you can use this tactic in is after casting Xiangling's Elemental Burst. Quick-swap to Nahida and have her cast her Elemental Skill. This will activate Pyronado after the subsequent Dendro application, leading to a Burning reaction!
