Go to the Institute Dormitories and retrieve the Anchor is an objective for a quest. Players will need to go to the Fontaine Research Institute Region area to retrieve the Survey Anchor at the quest location, which can be found close to the Central Laboratory Ruins.

| 1 | Go to the Institute Dormitories location to retrieve the Survey Anchor in the ruins. |
| 2 |  Get the Ousia Block. |
| 3 |  Use the Ousia Block on the device to give energy. |
| 4 |  Start the Energy Transfer Terminal to unlock the room. |
| 5 |  Pick up the device inside and place it at the center of the hall outside the room. |
| 6 |  Activate to retrieve the energy. |
| 7 |  Once the device is in view, take the energy and give it the the moveable device. |
| 8 |  Place the device with energy near the other terminal by a locked gate. |
| 9 |  Use the Terminal to open the room with the Survey Anchor. |
