The Consecrated Fanged Beasts will only appear in the overworld, specifically in Tunigi Hollow, after completing the Khvarena of Good and Evil quest.

How to Beat Consecrated Fanged Beast

Quick Dendro Attacks and Strings

The Fanged Beast specialized in getting up close and personal with you in battle, constantly finding ways to close large distances.

One of these attacks is its rolling attack, which closes in on you very quickly before executing a slash attack.

Once close enough, its attacks will be quick and successive, which can take out a huge chunk of your HP if you're not wary.

Dendro Finishers

The Fanged Beast executes attacks in strings with a deadly combo finisher that can cover long distances.

Most of these combos are only 2 or 3 hits, with the finisher included. Keep dodging and wait for the strings to finish before starting your counterattack.

Phagocytic Pounce

Consecrated Beasts are capable of entering a powerful form known as the Phagocytic Form. While in this form, they will unleash an extremely powerful and unique attack that can outright slay your party members if you're not careful.

The Fanged Beast will execute Phagocytic Pounce, wherein it will teleport to your immediate vicinity and pounce, dealing Dendro DMG in a large AoE. The range of this attack is indicated by a green circle on the ground.

Almost immediately after this attack, a huge opening for a counterattack will present itself.

How to Paralyze the Consecrated Fanged Beast

Use Elemental Attack to Destroy Energy Blocks

After unleashing Phagocytic Pounce while in Phagocytic Form, the Fanged Beast will summon a Phagocytic Energy Block. The Energy Block will only be on the field for 6 seconds; destroy it with Dendro or any other Elemental attack to gain its power.

Dendro requires only one hit to destroy the block, whereas other non-Dendro elemental attack requires six hits.

After Paralyzing the Fanged Beast

You will receive the Energy Block power after destroying the Phagocytic Energy Block, which you can use to deal significant damage and temporarily paralyze the Consecrated Fanged Beast.

Use this opportunity to dish out as much damage as possible!

Paralyzing any Consecrated Beast will net you the "Back for More" Achievement.
