Do Not Prolong the Battle

While the Nobushi Cards aren't the strongest in terms of their HP, the DMG they deal as the battle goes on is massive. With their Iai: Sheathed skill, Nobushi cards will prepare for two rounds, before unleashing huge Physical DMG.

This is why it's recommended to finish the battle as quickly as possible.
