The storybook that Amber sent me arrived early! It got here yesterday evening, so I stayed up all night to finish reading it!
The plot was simple enough and easy to understand, and there wasn't any new vocabulary either. The main character, Mr. Fox, has big ears and a long tail, and he lives in a huge forest far, far away. It's a series of funny stories about him and his friends.
I have to admit that I could practically see Master Tighnari as the protagonist! Or would have, if Mr. Fox wasn't such a sly character who lies at the drop of the hat... I'm not sure how well I hid it when I saw him this morning...
Oh, look how much I've written already! I've gotten a little carried away...
The thing I want to say is... thanks to everyone's help, I've gradually been getting better and better, and I'm starting to feel like I've made a lot of progress!

Those alchemical potions we bought from you last time were just amazing! Everyone feels like they have a lot more energy while they work, and the cargo ship that carried them also brought way more goods than usual.

Recently, two musicians in our opera troupe retired and returned to their hometowns. Before they left, they introduced several other adept musicians to us.
These musicians are indeed talented. Despite the little time we've had to practice and rehearse, their playing is already in perfect harmony with my singing. As I listened to those melodies, so familiar yet fresh, I could sometimes see the smiling faces of the two old musicians accompanying me with their performances during my childhood days of learning opera.
Partings and encounters are a running theme throughout life, being staged again and again, bringing us sorrows and surprises, and these are but a few of the manifold flavors of life.
In this new year of my life, I wish to spend more time with my dear friends and continue to progress in my singing and acting skills. For my birthday this year, our long-time fans booked a ship for the entire Yun-Han Opera Troupe on which to admire the full moon. As this was the request of our adoring supporters, we of course decided to go. I discussed matters with everyone and, seeing how devoted our fans are, we agreed that it was best to repay them in at least some small part with a performance.
Upon the sea and beneath the moon, accompanied by the sound of the waves... I think this song is best suited to the scene:
"The frosty disk of the full moon rises upon a lonely island, life fleeting as a pleasant dream, let me raise my cup with open heart and drink to my soul's satisfaction." To spend my birthday creating beautiful memories with friends and those who love and appreciate opera fills me with joy.
