Instructions for Unlocking Kunado's Trial
The first thing you have to do is get to Enkanomiya. Once you're there, a quest chain will automatically be unlocked.
Kunado's Trial can only be unlocked after completing the Entrance to Tokoyo and the The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent quests. Once you have the Bloodbranch Coral, go to ''The Serpent's Heart'' in Enkanomiya and look for a ''???'' ghost.
Pyro Torch Puzzle Guide for the Flames of the High Gates
How to Solve the Pyro Torch Puzzle
| Step by Step Guide | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Make sure you're in the Evernight State. If you aren't, use the Day-Night mechanism to switch to Evernight. |
| 2 | Before you solve the puzzle, make sure you have your best team equipped to face: Solving the puzzle will spawn four waves of enemies so you have to be prepared! |
| 3 |  Light all four Pyro Torches in the area. You can find them in front of each statue with a Flame of the High Gates. |
| 4 | Defeat all four waves of enemies to completely dispel the barriers around each Flame of the High Gates. |

| Step by Step Guide | |

| 1 | Make sure you're in the Evernight State. If not, find a Day-Night mechanism and switch to Evernight. |
| 2 |  Go to the marked location in ''The Serpent's Heart'' and look for a hole in the ground. That's where the pool of water is. |
| 3 |  There are Bathysmal Vishaps in the area, but you can put a shield on and ignore them. |
| 4 |  Jump and glide into the school of Ghostfish and wait for it to carry you up into the portal. |
| 5 |  Once you've been teleported to a different location, talk to the spirit by the gate. Activate the Teleport Waypoint too! |
| 6 |  Go to the area of the Flames of the High Gates. |
| 7 |  Switch to Evernight, light up the Pyro Torches, and defeat four waves of enemies: Wave 1: Wave 2: Wave 3: Wave 4: |
| 8 |  Go to Daimon's new location and talk to him. Finish the cutscene to complete the quest! |
| 9 | Move on to either Yachimatahiko's Trial or Yachimatahime's Trial. If this is the last trial you needed, proceed to The Three Great Martial Trials. |
