Facing Distant Echoes is the unlock quest for Act 4 of the Thunder Sojourn event in Inazuma! Once you've finished Facing Distant Echoes, you can begin playing challenges in Stage 4.

How to Unlock Facing Distant Echoes

To unlock Facing Distant Echoes, you have to reach Adventure Rank 30 or above and get to Inazuma by starting the Archon Quest for Chapter 2: Act 1! Complete the ''Ritou Escape Plan'' subquest to unlock the quest.

	Objectives
1	For the final time, talk to Muzhen on the beach in Ritou, Narukami Island.
2	Head to the marked location in Araumi Island. There will be a glowing marker in front of a Domain Door, at the base of a cliff and a waterfall.
3	Go inside the Domain to search the ruins.
4	Defeat the Perpetual Mechanical Array inside the Domain to complete the quest!

How to Defeat the Perpetual Mechanical Array in the Ruins

Use Shield Characters!

You'll be facing the Mechanical Array, along with Ruin Sentinel enemies, so it's best to always have Shields on you. We recommend bringing Zhongli for the best shields, but other shield characters work too!
