Use rust if you don’t plan to spam charged attacks when he’s on the field and vice versa.
Its still great on yelan. She’s already not a range fighter since both her skill and burst are close range and scale off of hp making her ranged NAs and Normal CAs useless, plus her breakthrough CA is consumable and only regained through her skill further encouraging close range combat
Once again, without the correct name I can only guess which bow you are referring to but now I'm assuming that you are asking about the Aqua Simulcra. Maybe. You can use the +% damage at close range. Ironically it would be bad on Yelan since it forces her to fight close range when she has no need to close in. Her Lifeline is for hit and run attacks, not face tanking.
i meant the new 5 star bow for yelan, is that one good?
Not good if you mean the Fading Twilight ("newest" is very time dependent so you really should name the weapon). With Tartaglia/Childe, you want to kill fast, the 21 seconds the weapon takes to spin up to max hurts it in this regard.

Which one bow is better for Childe - Blackcliff (with and without stat) or rust? Both at r1 Childe c0, 4p HoD, usually I play him as sub-dps i guess? (party with Sucrose-Zhongli-Xiangling/Yae) I don't have any problem with his e cd.
I think you misunderstood about childe's mechanics. While yes he has long cooldown on his skill, you really don't want to be in his skill for a really long time. And his not the only one who deals dmg, sub dps like xiangling can proc vape reactions with her burst thx to Childe's very fast hydro applier. So in general, Childe is NOT a main dps, but rather as a hydro enabler to your team. You making him as an all time on-field dps is a huge mistake.

Damm whoever wrote this guide is really salty towards Childe huh.... Why they pull him down to S tier?. This guy doesn't need Constelation, in C0 he is already a beast if you cycle properly. Childe is really good against the Moob with his Riptied and so why tf they tone down to S?. Now that Raiden is around.

Guide is biased towards Polar Star just because it's a CRIT Rate bow lol
He's really useful in battle, he's insane with traveler's electro burst, it's like a copy of raiden's skill but triggered by every hit you caused, but the most dreadful thing about him is the rare chance of heart of depth and searching the starconch

This is just wrong. I have him at c0 and he's amazing. Just do your rotations properly. But I understand. He's tricky to learn.
I have been farming 4pc HoD for childe and finally got a decent one. His melee got slightly better but the riptide dmg also got lower. So should I use the set or keep using my old artifact? My old one only 2 HoD no 2 Glad/Shime because his atk already 2k+
