Does anyone know when the Childe banner will return? Because the last time there was a banner just for him (basically) was in 2023, aside from that awful 2025 banner that had several characters.

Permafrost Childe ia unironically so good, Childe, Furina, Citlalí and Escoffier is so powerful (and premium tbh)

you mean, one of the best. Not so childish like Furina's or Citlani's burst animation. Accurate, powerful. And remember that he is one of the first characters.
his ultimate burst animation is suck like 4★ character animation, bright background compare with barbara, barbara better in burst animation lol

he need to be played with pyro or dendro electro - just get him cdmg 200 farm arti properly zhong just shield
i hope the pyro archeon is functioning as childe main hes still the best playstyle for me compare to other hydro dps - i still love him since 2020 literally mihoyo didnt even give him sub dps supp while neuvi alhaitham all got 5 star support smh ayato too
Stringless from pulling and King's square from Varanara near the dream tree there's an Aranara selling the blueprints.
Lowkey kinda regret pulling for him. He doesn't crit often, even with high crit rate/dmg and he doesn't do much damage even with 5 star weapons. Should have gotten zhongli instead or Lyney
He can, its on par with Aqua according to Childe Main's weapons calc and even brings up EM sands to be on par with ATK sands, but sometimes Viridescent Hunt's passive can be better for certain situations where enemies could otherwise get ungrouped
Is Childe able to use Hunter's Path very well? I pulled it on the float banner but I don't have Tighnari yet. My Childe is on Viridescent Hunt right now, for comparison.
Shime is bad, it messes with the double swirl setup which also shortens the NA/CA buff substantially to only 4-5 seconds plus the 4pc doesn't benefit his burst which is a huge portion of Childe's DPS.
Where's Stringless? It's literally his best 4* weapon if you vape his Burst, especially in XL-Bennett-Kazuha which is his best team. Where's king's squire too since it's the best F2P for that specific team too?
Shimms works as well. His burst returns 20 energy which can be used to active the set. You should include it. Although the er req is aroun 160. This set does good dmg. I have it built with 50 crit rate and 100 crit dmg. I get 10k per hit with xiangling.
