Xilonen | Neuvillette | Furina | Kazuha |
Xilonen | Arlecchino | Kazuha | Bennett |
Xilonen | Navia | Xiangling | Bennett |
Xilonen | Mualani | Emilie | Xiangling |
Xilonen works as a debuffer, with the same overlaps as Kazuha's best teams. Depending on the situation, should you need healing and easier RES shred application over Kazuha's AoE damage and grouping, Xilonen is the better pick as your debuffer. Moreover, Geo-units like Navia also benefit from her, which Kazuha cannot do.
A Xilonen-Kazuha combo for Hypercarries like Neuvillette or Arlecchino can also work so long as they're not reliant on reactions.

Kinich | Emilie | Xiangling | Bennett |
Kinich | Nahida | Thoma | Xingqiu |
Kinich wants Burning or Burgeon teams to satisfy the conditions of both his Passive Talent and signature weapon. For Burning teams, Emilie with any other Pyro off-field options like Xiangling, Thoma, or Dehya, as long as they can apply it regularly, are best for such teams.

---|---|---|---|
Mualani | Xiangling | Kazuha | Bennett |
Mualani | Emilie | Xiangling | Zhongli |
Mualani is best for forward Vaporize, which means that she needs to be the one triggering the Vaporize reaction after every Sharky's Bite. If Xiangling is already preoccupied to another team, you may also use other Pyro options like Dehya, Thoma, or Xinyan as long as there are no other elements that can disrupt the reaction.
Sub DPS | Main DPS | Support | Sub DPS/ Support |
---|---|---|---|
Emilie | Kinich | Xiangling | Bennett |
Emilie | Wriothesley | Xiangling | Bennett |
Emilie is a Sub-DPS that performs best on Burning-related teams like Burn-Melt, Burn-Vaporize, or regular Burning with Kinich. If Xiangling or Bennett are already used on other teams, you may use other Pyro options like Dehya or Thoma depending on your Main DPS option.

---|---|---|---|
Sigewinne | Navia | Chiori | Furina |
Sigewinne | Yae Miko | Fischl | Nahida |
Sigewinne | Nahida | Raiden | Furina |
Sigewinne's best teams typically consist of Furina due to her synergy to provide heals and improve off-field Elemental Skill abilities. Having her run with other party members who can utilize these buffs like Yae Miko or Nahida is recommended.
Main DPS | Sub DPS | Support | Sub DPS/ Support |
---|---|---|---|
Clorinde | Fischl | Nahida | Kazuha |
Clorinde | Fischl | Chevreuse | Thoma |
Clorinde | Nahida | Furina | Baizhu |
Clorinde is a very flexible DPS who can be run into Aggravate, Hyperbloom, Chevreuse Overloaded, or Electro-Charged team comps so long as there's someone who can battery her Elemental Burst.
As Clorinde doesn't have innate interruption resistance, shielders are more recommended than healers.
Main DPS | Sub DPS | Support | Sub DPS/ Support |
---|---|---|---|
Arlecchino | Kazuha | Xingqiu | Bennett |
Arlecchino | Yelan | Bennett | Zhongli |
Arlecchino | Fischl | Chevreuse | Bennett |
Arlecchino | Kazuha | Xiangling | Bennett |
Arlecchino can run standard Pyro-teams like Vaporize, Overloaded with Chevreuse, or Mono-Pyro without any extreme differences in overall damage. Running a shielder like Zhongli, Thoma, or Layla is also recommended as Arlecchino needs interruption resistance.
Sub DPS | Main DPS | Support | Sub DPS/ Support |
---|---|---|---|
Chiori | Itto | Gorou | Zhongli |
Chiori | Navia | Furina | Bennett |
Chiori | Hu Tao | Yelan | Zhongli |
Chiori works similarly with Albedo in that she can function on any teams as an off-fielder Sub-DPS. She works best if there's another Geo for the resonance bonus, and superb at creating Crystallize shards for Navia (although having C1 would be optimal in such a team).
Sub DPS | Main DPS | Support | Sub DPS/ Support |
---|---|---|---|
Albedo | Itto | Gorou | Zhongli |
Albedo | Navia | Xiangling | Bennett |
Albedo | Hu Tao | Zhongli | Xingqiu |
Albedo works as an off-field damage dealer for any team comps, esecially on Mono-Geo or Double-Geo parties with Navia, Hu Tao, or Itto. He can also give free particles and Crystallize shards as long as there's another Element in the team.

---|---|---|---|
Kazuha | Tartaglia | Xiangling | Bennett |
Kazuha | Neuvillette | Furina | Baizhu |
Kazuha | Ayaka | Shenhe | Kokomi |
Kazuha is a universal buffer for any teams that has a Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro DPS. Because he is able to swirl two Elements at once, dual-DPS teams such as with Tartaglia and Xiangling will be able to get both buffs from Kazuha, which translates to even more team damage!
Support | Main DPS | Sub DPS | Sub DPS/ Support |
---|---|---|---|
Xianyun | Gaming | Furina | Bennett |
Xianyun | Diluc | Furina | Bennett |
Xianyun | Xiao | Furina | Faruzan |
Xianyun can work on all characters who have a high plunging attack scaling, apart from the obvious synergy with Gaming and Xiao's plunging-focus kit. The character who have the highest scaling so far in 4.4 is Diluc.
As Xianyun covers both the support and healer role, having Furina and other buffers like Bennett and Faruzan are good to make your hypercarry skyrocket in DPS!
Main DPS | Sub DPS | Sub DPS/ Support |

---|---|---|---|
Navia | Chiori | Furina | Bennett |
Navia | Zhongli | Xiangling | Bennett |
Navia | Fischl | Ningguang | Xingqiu |
Navia generally prefers two Geo characters as the Geo Resonance effect is a powerful bonus, and it gives her the much needed energy to use her burst off-cooldown. For the last two slots, any off-fielders who can create Crystallize shards are best.
You can also use Furina in the team, but note that you need a party healer like Charlotte, to make the most of her buffs.

---|---|---|---|
Navia | Noelle | Yelan | Furina |
Should you wish to adopt a quickswap playstyle for Navia, slotting her as a Sub-DPS in a double-Geo team comp with Noelle or other general Main DPS is good. With Furina and Yelan, both of them can generate enough Crystallize shards so that when Navia gets back on-field, she can immediately shoot!

Main DPS | Sub DPS | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Furina | Neuvillette | Kazuha | Baizhu |
Furina | Hu Tao | Xianyun | Yelan |
Furina | Wriothesley | Kazuha | Charlotte |
Furina excels at buffing characters who have HP fluctuations in their kit, but she also opens up new playstyles for existing characters who don't have this ability, letting them equip niche weapons and the Marechaussee Hunter artifact set.

---|---|---|---|
Wriothesley | Xingqiu | Kazuha | Shenhe |
Wriothesley | Furina | Kazuha | Charlotte |
Wriothesley | Nahida | Kazuha | Thoma |
Wriothesley's strength is his flexibility towards multiple Cryo-related reactions except Superconduct. If you want to work on his personal damage, slot-in Melt teams to amplify his damage, provided that you can reliably set it up off-field with either pure Pyro or Burning.

Neuvillette | Kazuha | Furina | Baizhu |
Neuvillette | Kazuha | Furina | Charlotte |
Neuvillette | Fischl | Sucrose | Zhongli |
Neuvillette, in the current patch, wants three types (or two if you have his C1) of Hydro-related Elemental Reactions (including Bloom, Swirl, and Crystallize) to proc his damage amp passive.
As long as you have supports who can reliably trigger such reactions off-field like Fischl, buff his damage like Kazuha or Mona, and help his interruption resistance through Zhongli or Layla's shields, you have a solid team for a Neuvillette-focused team.

Venti | Ayaka | Kokomi | Shenhe |
Venti | Ayato | Fischl | Bennett |
Venti excels at all types of content that involve multiple lightweight enemies, such as Hilichurls, Treasure Hoarders, and some Fatui enemies. On those cases, you can slot-in any team comp that has AoE and can use the RES shred for Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo reactions.
Some examples include Ayaka or Ganyu Freeze, and Ayato Electro-Charged or Vaporize.

Zhongli | Hu Tao | Yelan | Xingqiu |
Zhongli | Itto | Albedo | Gorou |
Zhongli is extremely flexible to fit in almost all team comps that need comfort from his strong and durable shields. Not only can he shield but he can also reduce all Elemental and Physical resistance, making him the only support so far who can give this free and easy-to-activate buff!
Should you wish to build him as a Sub-DPS, you may sacrifice HP artifacts and weapons for classic CRIT damage stats instead.

Lyney | Xiangling | Bennett | Furina |
Lyney | Dehya | Bennett | Kazuha |
Lyney | Xiangling | Bennett | Zhongli |
Lyney excels the most in a mono-Pyro team because of his ascension passive. You only need two extra characters to utilize its effects, so you can slot in a buffer like Kazuha or another defensive option like Zhongli to increase his performance.

Baizhu | Neuvillette | Kazuha | Furina |
Baizhu | Alhaitham | Raiden | Yelan |
Baizhu | Nahida | Nilou | Xingqiu |
Baizhu is a great comfort support for all Dendro-related reactions, namely Quicken, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon. He also frees up healer or shielder slots, giving you access to other damage dealers or supports.
Sub DPS | Main DPS | Sub-DPS | Support |
---|---|---|---|
Dehya | Lyney | Xiangling | Kazuha |
Dehya | Ganyu | Nahida | Bennett |
Dehya | Hu Tao | Xingqiu | Yelan |
By focusing on Dehya's Elemental Skill utility, she can be slotted into team comps that require off-field Pyro damage and interruption resistance.
Parties that fit both of these criterias are a Ganyu Burning/Melt team and a Doubly Hydro Hu Tao team.

Dehya | Ganyu | Shenhe | Bennett |
Dehya | Kazuha | Kokomi | Bennett |
Dehya | Xiangling | Kazuha | Bennett |
Dehya can be used as a Main DPS if she has proper support buffers. Her damage multipliers are a bit lackluster without good supports, so it's very important that she has the right teammates for the job.
For Elemental Reaction teams, Dehya can use EM% Main Stats instead of ATK% or HP% if she can consistently trigger Elemental Reactions.

Alhaitham | Nahida | Yelan | Shinobu |

Alhaitham can also be played as a typical Quicken DPS by triggering Spread damage. This also enables his off-field electro teammates to trigger Aggravate.

Nahida | Alhaitham | Yelan | Shinobu |

---|---|---|---|
Nahida | Yelan | Raiden | Baizhu |
Nahida | Nilou | Baizhu | Kokomi |
Nahida is excellent for creating Dendro Cores. With Dendro Cores on the field, you will simply need an Electro character who can periodically deal Electro damage to trigger the Hyperbloom reaction without overwriting the Hydro Aura or Dendro Aura on enemies.

You will always need a healer for Nilou's team, so Kokomi and Barbara are currently your only real choices.

If you want to increase Ayato's personal damage, it is ideal to pair him with characters that can buff it even further. Yun Jin can buff his normal attack damage with her Elemental Burst while Rosaria can increase Crit Rate when using her Elemental Burst.

Activating Xingqiu and Yelan's Elemental Burst before using Hu Tao, allows her to consistently trigger Vaporize reactions.
Hu Tao's damage increases when her HP is low, making it more viable to use shields rather than healing. This will increase her survivability and allow her to take more hits, while also maintaining her high damage output.

Xinyan as a Main DPS mostly deals Physical DMG. Having a combination of a Cryo and Electro Sub-DPS character in the party can trigger Superconduct, which will lower enemies' Physical DMG Resistance and allow Xinyan to hit harder.
Another way to increase Xinyan's damage is to have a second Pyro character in the party to provide Elemental Resonance and increase her ATK by 25%.

・Zhongli and the Traveler (Geo) can create Geo Constructs to solve the puzzles around Liyue and also use it to reach higher places. ・Yelan allows you to speed-up running times. ・Party setup has good HP management with Bennett as a healer and Pyro coverage and Zhongli providing shields. |
Zhongli makes exploration around Liyue easier as he can defeat the enemies that use Geo shields and solve the Geo puzzle found all over the region. Since the Liyue region also has a lot of high mountains, Amber and her Passive Talent will come in handy when you're gliding from different points of the map.

Most of the puzzles found in Inazuma require Electro to solve them, this is where Beidou comes in handy as she can use Electro as well as provide some shields against the stronger Inazuma enemies. Due to that a healer is also highly recommended, especially against the Rifthound enemies that deal damage that ignore shields.

Fontaine Exploration Party | |||

Neuvillette | Furina | Kazuha | Baizhu |
Strengths | |||
・Neuvillette can act as a strong solo-DPS while also having decent exploration talents, Pneuma Arkhe, and self-healing. ・Furina can switch between Pneuma or Ousia for puzzles, provide good off-field damage, and buff Neuvillette in the process. Also allows you to walk on water, and decrease CD for Fontemer abilities. ・Kazuha's Passive Talent decreases sprinting stamina consumption while his Elemental Skill can be used to reach on top of structures. ・Baizhu replenishes everyone's HP with his strong healing, which also synergizes well against Furina's HP drain. |
Exploring Fontaine requires characters that are both good while you're in the surface or underwater, which Neuvillette and Furina's active and passive talents can cover. Especially because they are of the Hydro element and they have Arkhe alignments, they can solve puzzles for you!
You may use Charlotte instead of Baizhu as an alternative.
Role | ・Main source of damage for the team. |
---|---|
Features | ・Damage is mostly from Normal or Charged attacks. |
When building a team, it is best to always start with the Main DPS and build around them. As the Main DPS they will be dealing the most damage and be out on the field for longer.
The Main DPS should specialize in combat, preferably one that can deal high amounts of damage with even just their Normal or Charged attacks.
Role |
・Secondary source of damage. ・Sets up Elemental Reactions for the Main DPS. |
---|---|
Features |
・Reliant on Skills or Bursts for damage. ・Effects of Skills or Bursts stay on the field even after switching. |
Once the Main DPS has been selected, it's time to choose one or two Sub-DPS for your team. The role of the Sub-DPS is to set up Elemental Reactions for the Main DPS, they are also the secondary source of damage while the Main DPS is inactive.
It is recommended that Sub-DPS Elemental Skills and Bursts stay on the field even after getting switched out, so that the Main DPS can keep setting up Elemental Reactions.
Best way to choose a Sub-DPS is by checking what reactions you can get with the element of the Main DPS.
Role |
・Increases survivability of the team with heals and shields. ・Increases overall damage by providing buffs and debuffs. |
---|---|
Features |
・Can provide shields and healing with Skills or Bursts. ・Can boost damage of Main DPS. ・Can lower enemies defense or resistance. |
Complete your team by filling in the empty slots with a Support character. They will be in charge of keeping your team alive and providing additional buffs or debuffs to make the job of the Main DPS easier.
Elemental Resonance grants additional buffs based on the number of party members of a particular element.
These buffs can help push a party's damage and synergy potentials to even greater heights and should also be considered when selecting the last characters for a party.
