Personally I agree. I love my Xiao. But you have to consider some other facts too. He is not the best in single target and he provides no elemental reactions - he's an egoistic main dps. He needs all the support and provides nothing for his team. He's awesome as an introctionary main dps imo. He basically solos all the content up to and parts of the endgame. He falls behind in the abyss.
S tier man dps is just cold, he an EZ SS no question

Best DPS in the game. He is just crazy.
According to Keqingmains Xiao doesn't necessarily need a set bonus. Just give him the best stats you have. (Did the same with Kokomi btw, as I couldn't manage to get the recommended artifacts without any crits.)

I just got Xiao too, I'm new to this game (f2p), so i kinda don't know what to do, I'm having problem building my current team, so much info to learn, need some weapons and all that jazz

What might be better for him as how is it calculated, 2x 18% Gladiator\Shimenawa + 2x anemo set or 2x gladiator + 2x Shimenawa?
2 piece Shimenawa is the same as 2 piece Gladiator’s Finale
if your atk still around 1800~2100 then go for it
Can I run 2 piece shime and 2 piece vv if I have better sub stats on it?
i have a white tassel r 3 should i use that because i have 50%crit rate and 150% critDMG without it
its ok not preferrable but if u have nothing else then it works
you better pick blackcliff pole instead for those +55 cdmg bonus
I see a lot of Genshin Impact adds about new characters or banner rerun characters and what their skills are. I've seen Klee, Eula, Ayaka, Sayu, and Yoimiya. Just the other day I saw an add about Xiao which I believe is hinting to a banner rerun soon. Please take this with a grain of salt as I am sceptical towards it myself. Just thought I would share
