I agree with much of your comment, but would say abyss gets less important as from AR60 it feels more like a chore. I didn't know that, probably because your comment is nonsense. When your AR60 a while you will understand why. then those people definitely dont care about abyss if they couldnt care enough to grind artifacts aka they are casual players. if youre ar60 who gaf about abyss you should have at least 2 functioning teams already. i have multiple team options to full star abyss at ar56 its weird if ar60 players dont even have two teams.
at this point everyone should just stop playing the game. Like do you even know that 90% of players that are ar 60 dont even have like 4 characters built. Yeah its that hard to get a single insane artifact.
i mean if youre ar60 but have dont have at least 8 decently built characters just drop the game or create new acc at that point 😂

Artifact farming are all about luck, your odds of getting good artifacts are very low and most of the time the f***in RNG ruined good artifacts. At +20 you will get no boost to the crit rate/crit dmg sub stats, everything just went into HP/DEF.
you could argue some players know their skills are great that meta doesnt faze them. at this point they can use whoever to toy the abyss
people getting brave saying yelan better cuz abyss has been easy for some time now. when they bring something worse than conscrated beasts that stagger you most of the time people will go crawling back to xingqiu so their squishy dps can be usable.

i agree. As a player who has been playing from day one everyday, i just don't see the point of META. I rather invented some fun team comps who are quite strong and interesting. Meta is indeed for weaklings who can't play well or too afraid to try something new, so they have to rely on meta teams to pass through obstacles lol.
Old player dont want to admit that Yelan >>> Xingqiu. They can only argue that C6 Xingqiu provide dmg reduction and more hydro than C0 Yelan. New player should go draw Yelan not the unguaranteed C6 Xingqiu.
Hey, if the Artifact grind keeps you motivated and playing then congratulations. I still don't really understand how you could be at AR60 and not have obscene amounts of Mora and about a dozen great Artifact sets? But I was shocked I actually was running low on Iron Chunks this week, did you know the are only 5 Iron Chunk Rocks in Fontaine! So I actually had a reason to visit Mondstadt this week. :D
Most AR60 spent all their resin farming artifacts and all mora on artifact powering. Sometimes we don't even get any good artifact after farming for months. Resources? Yes, only a bag full of junk artifacts.
And yet, if you have been playing solidly up to and been AR60 for years, your resource pool will be considrable even as a FTP. It then comes down to how to stay motivated, some players will welcome a self imposed challenge like abyss speedruns. For myself, I aim to build a new charicter each month, even if there not meta (indeed un-meta charicters can be a fun challenge in itself.) because it keeps things interesting. Frankly I spend more time on my teapot relm than Abyss these days.
Smart players spend resources wisely on meta characters with highest DMG output. You don't have unlimited resources in this game, wasting them on trash characters then you are just a dumb.
meta is for weak players with skill issues.
I'm not a meta player. I full star abyss with Barbara, so I don't care.

we don't even know what her kit is. As for neuvi, unless you want a hydro dps. not recommend tho as both his teammates and weapons are very limited. He's Hydro Hu Tao, rely on CA and need C1.
