Mega Manectric ex Deck Strategy Guide

Use Early-Game Attackers

To maximize Mega Manectric ex's damage output, you will need to score KOs to gain points first. You may use Lightning-type Pokemon with low Attack Costs or Energy acceleration.

Crimson Blaze Magnezone is a great choice, as it can avoid being damaged with Mirror Shot. If your opponent is using an ex Pokemon, Pom-Pom Oricorio is a good option as well.

You may also use Jolteon ex, as it can deal additional damage with its Ability. It can also evolve right away if you are using Mega Rising Eevee.

Attack With Mega Manectric ex After Scoring Points

Once you have one or two points, you can use Mega Manectric ex as a finisher. It can deal 110 damage if you have 1 point, and 140 damage if you have 2 points.

Heal and Increase Mega Manectric ex's HP

Mega Manectric ex has lower HP compared to other Mega ex Pokemon. To prevent it from being Knocked Out, you may bring cards that can increase or heal its HP.

Bring Lower HP Pokemon to the Active Spot

If you need to use Mega Manectric ex in the early game, it is best to KO lower HP Pokemon to gain points. You may use cards such as Sabrina or Cyrus in order to switch out your opponent's Active Pokemon.

How to Beat Mega Manectric ex Decks

Use Fast and Strong Pokemon

You may use Pokemon with low Attack Costs in order to quickly counter Mega Manectric ex. Rampardos is a great single-point option, as it has both high damage output and the Type advantage. It also has enough HP to withstand one Lightning Accelerator.

Alternatively, you may use Mega Blaziken ex. Since it has both great bulk and a good damage output, it can KO the opponent's early game attackers. This can prevent Mega Manectric ex from boosting its damage.

Increase or Heal Your HP

Mega Manectric ex increases its damage output depending on how many points its player has gotten. You will need to prevent your Pokemon from getting Knocked Out in order to counter it.

You may use cards that increase or heal your Pokemon's HP in order to keep them out of KO range.
