Most Pokemon that don't need Energy to attack are usually Baby Pokemon. These Pokemon don't have high HP, but are notable as they don't need energy for their attacks and have no Retreat Cost.


Some cards like Magby and Pichu allow you to generate or transfer energy for other Pokemon. These cards are great for boosting energy attachment speed and energy ramping to build faster decks.
