Father of Bennett
Macani is Bennett's father and comes from the Collective of Plenty tribe. He is also seen as an Asha Monetoo during the entirety of the Sunspray Summer Resort event quest.
Macani Story and Character Lore
Cared for Bennett Along With Aroni
Macani helped raise Bennet when he was just a child, along with Bennett's mother, Aroni. They lived a happy life exploring around the region of Natlan with the Tecpatl's Flintblades adventure team.
He wished Bennett the same thing Aroni wants to give him, which is to shower the child with all the joy, kindness, and happiness they could give him.

Died Protecting Bennett From The Abyss
Macani died protecting both Bennett and Aroni while fighting Abyssal monsters that suddenly ambushed them. He sacrificed himself and let Aroni leave him just to save Bennett. Unfortunately, both of them still died.
Their sacrifice was successful as the Voice That Echoes, which is also The Abyss, talked to Bennett as he was the boy who cheated death from before.
Became an Asha Monetoo
In the Sunspray Summer Resort event quest, Macani showed up as an Asha Monetoo with a red bandana on its head and helped Bennett and everyone explore the Easybreeze Resort.
Later in The Surprise That Awaits Us All! event quest, he revealed that he is indeed Macani, Bennett's father, along with Aroni, whom is Bennett's mother.
