The Ayar Heroes' Cup invitation is found beside a group of warriors and a locked exquisite chest to the northwest of Wavey Bay.

Submit the Invitation to the Strange Guard

Genshin Impact - Ayar Heroes Cup Walkthrough Strange Guard Location

The Strange Guard is found on top of a ridge, south of where players find the Ayar Heroes' Cup invitation. Submit this to him and he will allow you to enter the area below. If players do not have an invitation to submit, the Strange Guard will deny access.

Jump Down the Ledge and Speak With Nahuatlalli

Genshin Impact - Ayar Heroes Cup Walkthrough Nahuatlalli
Nahuatlalli can be found underneath the wooden structure next to a table. She will explain what the Ayar Heroes' Cup is and encourage the player to fight. Note that speaking to the warriors first will not trigger the Ayar Cup combat to begin.

First Fight: Forged Sand Shieldbreaker

Genshin Impact - Ayar Heroes Cup Walkthrough Tobahaq
Players should speak with the first warrior Tobahaq, located on the sand, to trigger the fight against a Forged Sand Shieldbreaker. Defeating him will unlock an Exquisite Chest.

Second Fight: Qucusaurus Warrior and Iktomisaurus Warrior

Genshin Impact - Ayar Heroes Cup Walkthrough Kahinda and Mwindo
Head to the second level of the wooden structure and speak with either of the two warriors, Kahinda and Mwindo, to trigger the next fight against a Qucusaurus Warrior Blazing Sky and an Iktomisaurus Warrior Icy Tidebearer. Defeat them to obtain a Precious Chest.

Final Fight: Yumkasaurus, Qucusaurus and Koholasaurus

Genshin Impact - Ayar Heroes Cup Walkthrough Ipacura
The final challenger to defeat, located at the top of the wooden structure, is Ipacura. He will send out his Yumkasaurus (Dendrasha) first. After the Yumkasaurus is defeated, Ipacura will send out a Qucusaurus (Pyrasha) and Koholasaurus (Hydrasha). Defeating them will unlock the Luxurious Chest and an achievement.

The Inheritor of Ayar Achievment and 3 Chests

Genshin Impact - Ayar Heroes Cup Walkthrough 7 Hidden Achievement and Chests
Defeating all challengers will grant the player “The Inheritor of Ayar” achievement. Players can also earn a total of three chests, (Exquisite Chest, Precious Chest, Luxurious Chest) unlocked by defeating each competitor.
