This is by far the most fun characters I've played and she does loads of damage. She's a must pull for sure
she is higher than arlecchino,only in nuke damage and she hardly relies on vape reaction for her best damage, arlecchino just a bit better overall(even though i main and use mualani)
Isn't Mualani's peak DPS higher than Arlecchino's tho?
In terms of DPS goodness Varesa is comparable to Mualani but behind Arlecchino. If you are just aiming for meta than Arlecchino is one of the best DPS period. However, Varesa and Mualani and still very good DPS, so it largely comes down to what kind of DPS you want the most and preferences in play style.
How does Varesa compare to Mualani and Arlecchino?
the new set just came out people can’t farm it in just one day it will take some weeks
The New set is best Obsidian is just a place holder until people get good pieces of Night’s Oath.
ofc the new set is best for her, dmg diff is around 10% could be more or less depending on team comps and use cases. Keep in mind that the 10% diff only applies when the cr/cv ratio is balanced well ( it’s a bit of a drama when you tryna reach 80 crit rate on Night’s Oath)
This guide says that Long Night's Oath is the best for Varesa, but in-game data shows that people mostly use her with Obsidian Codex. Your thoughts on this guys? Perhaps people just equip Varesa with the set they already have? Or is Obsidian can really prove to be a better option? Which set would you opt for?

Bro, this cow benched my c2 raiden. Wtf. Well my cow is c1. And a little lie about getting benched. She's just too fun to play. Raiden def shred ain't no joke. May not outnuke but cow can definitely outdps raiden

dont listen to this guy. Varesa is currently the best Electro DPS. I benched both Clorinde and Raiden after getting her. Also, that dumb argument a out how she "has absolutely no damage if she is not buffed by support bursts/skills"?? What? Of course she needs supports like every single DPS in the damn game!!! Even Mavuika herself can never reach her full potential without Citlali!
Mate, just cuz she isn't a hard carrying DPS like mauvika or Arlechinno doesn't mean she does "No damage" and then the same players probably complain about power creep too, just can't be happy
I saw a whale spam 1.2 mil plunges with her.. Sadly, if you are not a proud owner of: Varesa C6 R5, C6 Furina, C4 Xilonen, C2 Xianyun and more you will most likely struggle to reach anywhere between 90 - 130K plunges, also she has absolutely no damage if she is not buffed by support bursts/skills. My perspective is from C0 R1, Lv80, Lv6 talents, Obsidian set ~ 270% crit DMG, overload setup.
U can see it at the tierlist in this web I think, C2 Raiden is the same tier as C0 Varesa but harder to build. If u want to pull cons or sign for varesa but dosnt have that many primo, u can go for her sign (its such a good sign)
I think I will roll for her then, meta is not really a concern for me. Thank you for the input

I'm in the same boat, and based on what the "experts" are saying it seems like they are pretty similar in dps. So from a purely meta angle its probably better to skip, but from a play how you like angle it depends on how much you like her. I tried rolling for Varesa even though I already have Clorinde and C2 Shogun because I'm here for fun!
