If your team well build and you can eliminate even 6th difficulty of the new Abyss in, for example, 4 rotations, then this mean that hunter will be better IN THE OLD ABYSS because you still have an extra damage from her first free Ultimate before all your chars' rotations started. And more than this, Marechaussee Hunter provides you with NO MORE damage than Deep Galleries. They are equal in terms of Normal Attacks damage but burst damage will be higher with Deep Galleries (~6-8% difference). And I remember, to make these sets equal you should be lucky enough to have almost all her substats in crit damage. Otherwise you just pass the crit rate limit and lose damage.
You can stack burst and normal attacks only at the start of the floor and that's it because our lovely developers provides you with full energy. But once you casted your burst at the beginning of the battle you will ONLY play through normal attacks OR burst. And switching between them depends on Skirk's skill CD which is more than 6s that allows the Deep Galleries set resets its bonus. And it's much easier for you to collect crits with Deep Galleries, unlike the Marechaussee Hunter set.

This is wrong. Her best set is not Deep Galleries. It's Marechaussee Hunter because you can stack burst and normal attacks in Spiral Abyss. Only in situations where you cannot do that is Deep Galleries better. Typical Game8 misinformation lol.
Skirk is a bigger investment for your account if you have Escoffier. So Skirk if you have Coffee, Mavuika if you don’t have Coffee
Mavuika if you have Xilonen or Citlali for her unique way to charge her burst (Iansan can work too) also Mavuika is a good sub DPS for other teams like Navia or Kinich for example

And Skirk is the same. She also has "only one" freeze team. But her damage, survivability and comfort are great there. As much great and f2p friendly as Arlecchino's / Mavuika's teams and much better in f2p terms than "THE one" Neuvillette team. And I don't even talk about the variety of enemies and how good / bad our SS tier dps characters fight them / how much sets they might use / and other hame aspects. Taking these aspects into account, we need to write an article here )
Their real "flexibility" just closed in 2 types of good teams. Arlechino / Mavuika in melt/vape team (with Bannet) or overload team (with 1 more specific C6 support, of course). Neuvillette with only one unbreakable team: 3 different elements (dendro + electro + anemo) with stable elemental application. Other teams just do less damage or expensive (i.e. not f2p friendly).
And tell me now how much they are different from Skirk? Their teams (especially f2p) might be counted by the fingers of one hand. Their other teams would be just weaker than their base teams (in terms of damage / survivability / comfort) that there's no reason to count them as a reason to put a character in SS tier.
Neuvillette needs 3 different elements that allows to trigger hydro-related reactions with stable elemental application in his team and a character with shields to prevent charged attack interruption. Otherwise you will just lose permanent ~35% damage bonus that is a lot too. And he's also more depends on his signature that the other SS tier units.
And btw other SS tier dps characters also locked in a specific teams. Arlecchino is only about well made Vape / Melt teams. Any other team build will lower team damage or team survivability. Mavuika is the same as Arlechino with one more limitation: to make her ultimate buffs stronger she needs Natlan's characters (especially Citlali).
