what tier is he if you can consistently dragonstrike?

TS : better for Aggravate, Mono Electro, Taser TF : priority choice for all Electro reactions . GD vs CW context for Diluc : CW has similar case with TF (flexibility comps), when GD has limited comps (like TS).

I want to say this LMAO, but instead stacking EM, just use EM/Pyro/Crit with Rainslasher, because his DMG outputs are decent (EM/Pyro/EM are also good, but need balance Crit Ratio, at least 60:120) . I will call this comps: Vaporeon

He's now op with nahida or any dendro and hydro character the burgeon reaction he can one hit any small enemies and including the big hilichurls you should update this ratings.

thats a bad comparison, thundersoother and TF are design for completely different teams from eachother. TS is only good with Mono-Electro, Physical, or Electrocharged while TF is good for Aggravate or Overload. CW and GD are different in the fact that CW will almost always outperform GD in 99% percent of situations.

Read a few comments down about how GD isn't good.

Please add EM Burgeon Diluc as a build with 4pc Gilded or 2pc Wanderer 2pc Gilded, ESPECIALLY so with the new bloom arti set coming next version

    53 Anonymousabout 2 yearsReport

just my opinion, Gilded is actually good, but if you have good CW stats, just use CW. Comparing GD to CW for Diluc is same with comparing Thundersoother to Thundering Fury for Electro-DPS

one golden rule of genshin character building: don’t trust YouTubers

    51 Anonymousabout 2 yearsReport

oh, thanks for this info ! i didn’t think about those other things to consider, guess I should still stick with my CW set haha

its not, that video is heavily geared towards gilded dreams with food buffs letting GD have more useful stat rolls (since CW has better crit and it would be negated since GD has a crit food), only comparing single hits not average performance, and less em for CW(even excluding the artifact bonus from GD). CW will almost definitely have a higher average performance if the person used it correctly (4pc 3x skill was basically never used), had no food buffs, and had a more even em like 30/110

did anybody try the new set, Gilded Dreams? i came across a video (link: https://youtu.be/HVlY1KGqVJI) that said it was more effective than Crimson Witch for Diluc... i think it's an underrated set for him but i have zero luck getting the GD set lol

thats not a unpopular opinion, thats straight up wrong lol

I think kuki shinobu works great with him :)

its usable, but not the best. Serpent Spine is just godly, Rainslasher give valuable EM and Dmg, Blackcliff give valuable crit dmg and Atk, Lithic can give up to 21 crit and a much bigger atk boost, Prototype still give better dps thanks to its passive and base atk, and Sea lord and Akuou doesn’t just give ATK but also burst DMG. Whiteblind is just usable since the only thing it provides is ATK which isn’t even that good when paired with bennett or yun jin

    44 Anonymousover 2 yearsReport

Unpopular opinion Whiteblind R5 is arguably one of the best 4* weapons for diluc. Tbh you all put wayyyyy too much focus on the bad defense stat. R5 Whiteblind gives you a consistent 48% attack buff as long as you throw in normal attacks. You can easily make up that crit rate on artifacts with only a few overall rolls. Everyone plays differently so what I do may not work for you.
