Meowth and its Carefree Steps Ability is an effective way to waste an opponent's turn, and rack up damage for a powerful Past Friends later in the game.

Meowth is a great Pokemon for stalling because of its Carefree Steps Ability, which is capable of invalidating an opponent's Attack for the turn. Having Meowth be in the Active Spot while you use a Supporter every turn can help set up KOs for Chandelure later in the game.

Chandelure's Past Friends gets more powerful the longer the game draws out. Aim to use a Supporter every turn to fuel its damage output.

Having Pokemon that are capable of OHKOing Meowth and Chandelure can ensure that your turns aren't wasted. Try to score KOs before your Pokemon are in range of getting knocked out by Past Friends.
