Complete the A New Star Approaches Quest

A New Star Approaches

To unlock and start the quests for Ores Investigation Special Lecture, you must first complete the A New Star Approaches archon quest.

Reach Friendship Level 3 With Linnea

Raise Linnea

To unlock the quest for Ores Investigation Special Lecture, you must also raise Linnea's friendship level to 3.

Start Mineral Quest on Archive

Once you got the archive from Linnea, read it from your gadget inventory. The Ores Investigation Special Lecture should appear on the second tab of the archive. Simply click on the plants and select Accept Quest or Accept All to begin the quests!

Special Lecture

Ores Investigation Special Lecture has four mineral research quests in total. It should be noted that in order to progress each quest, you will need Linnea in your party.

You can start with any of the Mineral Research quests, but the Special Lecture can only be started after completing all four.

Mineral Research: Rainbowdrop Crystal

Quest Objectives
1
Rainbowdrop Crystal - Head south of Frost Moon Enclave
Start the quest by heading south of Frostmoon Enclave, near the Statue of the New Moon. Once there, investigate the yellow marking with Linnea.

Collect Rainbowdrop Crystals
Follow the quest marker until you find the Rainbowdrop Crystal behind the boulder. Use Linnea's charge attack on the crystals to gather them and finish the quest!

Mineral Research: Moonfall Silver

Quest Objectives
1
Head to Nasha Town
Head to Nasha Town and use Linnea to investigate the yellow marker. Then choose the Wait for a while option to wait for the event.

Talk to Dorata
Once the event is ready, approach Dorota, who is standing around the Moonfall Silver, and speak with her.
3
Choose the Middle One
During the conversation, Dorota will ask Linnea to choose the best Moonfall Silver out of the three. Lumi will provide you a hint based on your choices, but the answer is the middle one.
4
Reclaim all Moonfall Silver
After the conversation, help Dorota in packing up all the Moonfall Silver on the floor. Once you've gathered everything, speak with Dorota again to complete the quest.

Mineral Research: Pine Amber

Quest Objectives
1
Head to Piramida
Go to the designated location in Piramida and investigate the yellow marking with Linnea.
2
Clear away the ores
Then, proceed uphill to find a Pine Amber surrounded by a bunch of ores. Use your charged attack to remove the ores, then collect the two Pine Amber.

Mineral Research: Icy Pebble

Quest Objectives
1
Head west of Frostmoon Enclave
Travel to the designated location west of Frostmoon Enclave. Once there, investigate the yellow marking with Linnea.

Collect all Icy Pebbles
There will be multiple Icy Pebbles ahead of you that you must gather, but if you speak with the NPCs in front of you instead of collecting them, they will eventually offer to help you in picking them up, allowing you to complete the mission more quickly.

Mineral Investigation Special Lecture

Head to Nasha Town

After completing all four Mineral Research quests, unlock the Special Lecture quest in your archive. Then make your way to Speranza to listen to Linnea's lecture!
