How to Defeat Celaeno and Haemus

Use Any Attack on First Phase

Select Any Attack during first phase

On the initial phase, Celaeno and Haemus' attacks will be unpredictable, so just use any attacks against her until she performs her first ultimate.

You can try using Charged Strike during this phase since Haemus may do the same and the result will be a draw, albeit this is not guaranteed!

Choose Burrow on the First Ultimate

Choose the Burrow Into the Ground Move to Dodge

Celaeno will instruct Haemus to charge at Aguara during the first ultimate. When the quick decision comes up, choose the Burrow into the Ground! move to avoid their attack and deal 5x damage to them.

Attack With the Same Color That the Traveler Suggests

On the second phase, the Traveler will attempt to predict Celaeno and Haemus' next moves.

Pay attention to the color of the highlighted moves on Travelers hints and choose an attack that matches the color of the highlighted word. For example, if the highlighted word on the hint is Red, select the Red move, which is Quick Attack!

Aim for the Legs on the Second Ultimate

Aim for the legs

After you've lowered Haemus' hp enough during the second phase, they'll unleash their second ultimate. During this time, select Aim for the Legs! option to win.

Continue Attacking While Haemus is Exhausted

Continue Attacking Haemus

Following the second ultimate, Haemus will be exhausted and unable to move. During this point, simply keep attacking until you can use your ultimate move!

Celaeno Story and Lore

Linnea's Older Sister

Linnea

During the Twice Upon Gaze quest, while Linnea is going through her fate, she will encounter Celaeno, who will tell her to return to their parents, implying that she is Linnea's sister.

Later in the Thread the Right Path quest, Celaeno confirmed that she is Linnea's sister, albeit indirectly.

Linnea and Celaeno did not grow up together since Linnea was switched as an infant with another human child to delay her prophetic gift, which is how she became a changeling.

Caeleno, Linnea, and their parents belong to the Augury Bird race, which is a type of Fae.

Caeleno further stated that the number of Augury Birds still alive are few and can be counted on one hand, which means that their family may be the last Augury Bird remaining.

Able to Foresee Their Own Future

Augury Bird faes are cursed with prophetic abilities, which allows them to see the future. Although Augury Birds can only see their own future and not others', they are also powerless to change it, no matter how hard they try.

This prophetic ability would manifest itself while they were near together, which is why their parents moved Linnea away from them to delay the ability.
