List of Contents

Long Live Life unlocks once you enter Luyang Academy in the Temple of Space, as part of the initial sub-quest of Paradise, A Day the Grand Temple Inscribed with Ages!
A Day the Grand Temple Inscribed with Ages

Head to the northeast area of the Temple of Space and take the portal to fly towards Luyang Academy to start the quest.

Enter the academy and go into the eastern room.

Investigate the door. Then, investigate the painting in the room. Finally, investigate the miniaturized landscape in the same room.
Move your camera to the left to find the ink-man in a gazebo. Capture it within the camera's frame.

Follow the path from the gazebo until you come across a table with a painting on it. Use Dex's ability to align the painting with the scene in front of the table.

Go to the newly spawned structure and head north of it to find another painting on top of a table.

Going near the table will spawn two Domain Keepers. Defeat them to proceed with the quest.
Domain Keeper Location and Enemy Guide

Use Dex's ability to align the painting with the scene of the structure you previously spawned. Doing so will spawn Daozi.

Approach and talk to Daozi, who explains that he was punished by being sealed in the painting. All the ink blots you've seen so far are people in a similar state.

Interact with the painting to return to the academy's main building.

Head south until you reach the realistic wall, then enter the west room.

Interact with the photo on top of the table. It turns out to be one of Zeitlind's missing belongings.

Head over to the corner of the room and examine the window. Doing so will bring you outside again.

Follow the path until you reach the inside of the building.

The left hanging scroll can be aligned with the corner of the room.

The right hanging scroll can be aligned with the space in between where the scrolls were previously hanging.

The square hanging scroll spawns after aligning the left hanging scroll. This scroll can be aligned with the entryway beside it.

The horizontal hanging scroll spawns after aligning the right hanging scroll. This scroll can be aligned with the window directly across its initial placement.

Solving the horizontal hanging scroll will make you see a Fontainian out the window. Approach them to learn that they are "Maukie", who you previously saw at the Statues of The Seven back in Mondstadt.
Following "Maukie" will lead to a chase segment where you must escape from the ink. Evade ink drops and use the paintings lying around to manifest structures to help you escape.

At the top of the tower, examine the painting, which is partially blocked by an exquisite chest. You bring it back to Daozi.

Enter the painting with the dim star. You will be transported to another area with small islands.

Jump through the islands until you reach the one that's directly above the dim star. Interact with the star to restore the sealed people's forms.

Talk to Bosch by proceeding into the courtyard of the academy. Talking to Istoria first will progress the quest, and you will no longer be able to talk to the others. You can skip this step if you'd prefer to quickly end the quest.

Talk to Istoria by going near the waypoint in Luyang Academy. This quest will end after talking to him.

Long Live Life is a subquest of the quest, Paradise, which in turn is part of the larger quest chain, A Long Day in the Mountains.
Long Live Life is part of the Paradise world quest chain and can be completed in any order alongside Unofficial Chronicle of the Desert Pavilion and Counterfeit Classics.
As you progress through Long Live Life, all chests that you've encountered will yield varying amounts of Memory Factor, which you can then offer to the Memory Core in exchange of valuable rewards!
