How to Unlock Shine On, Pipilpan Idol!

Walk Towards Chiton

Genshin - Shine On Pipilpan Idol Map Location

Shine On, Pipilpan Idol! unlocks after gaining access to the Eazybreezy Holiday Resort and walking towards Wavey Bay until the quest marker appears.

This quest marker will be on a yellowish creature named Chiton. Walk up to them to initiate the quest.

Accept "Campa"'s Trial

Genshin - Accept Campa

After accepting the quest, the first part requires you to head down to the stage with Chiton where you will encounter "Campa".

After a brief exchange between him and Chiton, your camera will be taken to the stage.

Instruct Chiton

Genshin - Instruct Chiton

On stage, you have the option of pressing Space to instruct Chiton to perform poses. However, this seems to be a scripted event and you do not have to do much besides watch the cutscene.

Accept Ohuitia's Trial

Genshin - Accept Ohuitia

After Campa's trial, go up the hill towards Ohuitia, who will give Chiton a pose-striking trial.

When the initial cutscene concludes, go up further along the structure until you come across Ohuitia at the top with a Kamera.

Strike Poses

Genshin - Strike Poses

Once up there, make sure to instruct Chiton to pose with the designated button, then snap a photo.

Eventually, some tribal warriors will join in on the poses, allowing you to snap another photo before an altercation begins.

Defeat the Tribal Warriors

Genshin - Defeat Tribal Warriors

After a brief exchange between Ohuitia and the tribal warriors, you will be asked to dispatch the latter due to their aggression. There are only three opponents so they can be taken out quickly.

Accept Ionna's Trial

Genshin - Accept Ionna

Moving on, move back down the hill towards Ionna's area, where you will be prompted to put on some themed outfits for Chiton.

You will need to create a total of two outfits to satisfy Ionna's requirements.

Pick an Ocean-Themed Outfit

Genshin - Ocean-Themed Outfit

The ocean-themed outfit that Ionna requires is composed of the Piquant Pricklepear hat and the Shining Starfish glasses.

Pick a Resort-Themed Outfit

Genshin - Resort-Themed Outfit

This next outfit that Ionna is requesting is a resort-themed outfit composed of the Easybrim Cap hat and the Waltz of Passion glasses.

Watch the Pipilpan Idol Competition

Genshin - Watch Competition

After completing all the trials and making it to the finals, your last objective is to spectate the Pipilpan Idol Competition and watch Chiton.

When the competition concludes, you will have a final chat with Chiton before concluding this quest.

Get Shine On, Pipilpan! Furnishing

After completing the Shine On, Pipilpan Idol! quest, you can get the Shine On, Pipilpan! furnishing item by going back to the quest location, at the south of Wavey Bay.

While walking around the quest area, a cutscene will occur where a girl, who is Chiton out of her costume, will talk to you about the Shine On, Pipilpan Idol! quest. After the cutscene, she will give you the furnishing item.

just tested. yo need to go forward in game time one day, no need for server reset

If you went back to quest location you can also get a Shine on, Pipilan! furnishing maybe after server reset
