Journey 1: A Tale of Two Boxes Guide
| Step 1 | Kau Kau Jump over the box, then drop down the narrow gap to the bottom floor. |
| Step 2 | Go to the other side, climb the stairs, and hop onto the platform on the other side of the door. |
| Step 3 | Jump to get the Nanas Cake, then use the small box to press the button and open the door. |
| Step 4 | Go to the destination and wait. |
| Step 5 | Akamai Push the large box but not all the way. Push it just enough to for you to jump on it from the previous platform. |
| Step 6 | Catch up with Kau Kau at the finish line. |

| Step 1 | Akamai Position yourself just at the cusp of the platform ahead. |
| Step 2 | Kau Kau Jump onto Akamai and hop onto the platform. |
| Step 3 | Push a crate onto the red button to open the gate behind Akamai. |
| Step 4 | Push a crate onto the yellow button to open the gate by the destination. |
| Step 5 | Go to the bottom floor to collect the Nanas Cake and proceed to the destination. |
| Step 6 | Akamai Catch up with Kau Kau at the destination. |
Journey 3: The Importance of Being Heavy Guide
| Step 1 | Kau Kau Make your way to the other side using the stack of boxes. Be sure to grab the Nanas Cake along the way. |
| Step 2 | Step on the button to lower the platform for Akamai. |
| Step 3 | Akamai Use the platform to cross to the other side and catch up with Kau Kau. |

| Step 1 | Akamai Position yourself just at the cusp of the platform ahead. |
| Step 2 | Kau Kau Jump onto Akamai and hop onto the platform. Be sure to grab the Nanas Cake. |
| Step 3 | Push the stack of crates onto the platform to weigh it down on one side. |
| Step 4 | Go to the destination. |
| Step 5 | Akamai Use the now-weighted platform to catch up with Kau Kau at the destination. |
Journey 5: For Whom the Pivot Turns Guide
| Step 1 | Akamai Position yourself just at the cusp of the platform ahead. |
| Step 2 | Kau Kau Jump onto Akamai and hop onto the platform. |
| Step 3 | Akamai Use the stack of large crates to lift the platform ahead and make a downward ramp for to the yellow button. |
| Step 4 | Kau Kau Push the small crate down the small ramp and have it land on the button to open the gate. Grab the Nanas Cake just ahead. |
| Step 5 | Make your way to the destination and wait for your partner. |
| Step 6 | Akamai Catch up with Kau Kau at the destination. |
Journey 6: What Can We Pry Up? Guide
| Step 1 | Akamai Position yourself just at the cusp of the platform ahead. |
| Step 2 | Kau Kau Jump onto Akamai and hop onto the platform. |
| Step 3 | Akamai Use the stack of large crates to lift the platform ahead and make a path for Kau Kau above. |
| Step 4 | Kau Kau Push the small crate to the next platform. Grab the Nanas Cake along the way. |
| Step 5 | Akamai Push the stack of crates further right and under the next swiveling platform. Position it under the left side of the platform to act as a support. |
| Step 6 | Kau Kau Push the small crate onto the swiveling platform. It's going to tilt the platform to one side, so jump on the other side of the platform to pry the crate out of its position and force it to roll onto the button. |
| Step 7 | Akamai Make your way to the destination and wait for your partner. |
| Step 8 | Kau Kau Catch up with Akamai at the destination. |
Journey 7: A Need for Balance Guide
| Step 1 | Akamai Position yourself at the left end of the seesaw platform and level it. Ensure that the wooden box remains at the right end. If it moves, push it to the right end, and slowly go back to the left end. |
| Step 2 | Kau Kau Jump on the wooden box at the right end, jump to collect Nanas Cakes, and go straight to the button near the finish line. |
| Step 3 | Akamai Push the wooden box towards the button to open the gate to the finish line. |
| Step 4 | Kau Kau Jump up to the finish line. |
| Step 5 | Akamai Jump on the box, then catch up to Kau Kau at the finish line. |
Journey 8: The Art of Weighing Guide
| Step 1 | Kau Kau Push the wooden box to the left end of the seesaw platform. |
| Step 2 | Kau Kau Jump up to the platform in the middle and make sure to stand at the right end, the elevated platform. |
| Step 3 | Akamai Climb up the stairs, jump to collect Nanas Cakes, and push the wooden box at the top to drop it on the right side of the seesaw platform. At the same time, the wooden box on the left end should be catapulted onto the platform where Kau Kau is located. |
| Step 4 | Akamai Go straight to the finish line. |
| Step 5 | Kau Kau Jump down and catch up with Akamai at the finish line. |
How to Play Travels are Fuller with Friends
Switch Between Kau Kau and Akamai
Akamai and Kau Kau are the main protagonists of the mini-game. You will have to switch between them depending on what you need to do to complete each stage.
Kau Kau is small and agile, making it jump higher and move quicker but can only push small boxes. Akamai is large and heavy. Though he may move slow and can't jump very high, he can weigh down buttons and push large crates.
Collect Nanas Cakes
While solving each stage, collect the Nanas Cakes scattered about the field to get a perfect score and get more rewards!
Use the Environment and Reach the Destination Together
Using both Kau Kau and Akamai, press on buttons and push boxes to get to the destination together! Only when both Akamai and Kau Kau reach the finish line together can each stage be completed.
