Progress Through The World Is Your Canvas Quest Chain
To Guiztli Ridge! is part of the The World Is Your Canvas quest chain. Unlock The World Is Your Canvas quest by finishing To a Carefree Vacation!, the first quest in the Sunspray Summer Resort quest chain!
The World Is Your Canvas Quest Guide
Go to Guiztli Ridge
To Guiztli Ridge! is located at the Guiztli Ridge at the Easybreeze Holiday Resort in the nation of Natlan. Approach Nanasian at the entrance of a cavern to start the quest.

To Guiztli Ridge! Walkthrough
Enter the Cavern
After talking to Nanasian, enter the cavern and follow the arrows to Villa Guiztli! At the entrance of Villa Guiztli, you will meet the Sheriff Alpaca and learn about the situation of the town.
Ride the Cruise Ship
Board the cruise ship which will bring you to the bar. Along the way, you will pass through Villa Guiztli residents despairing over the bandit attacks.
Follow the Sheriff to the Bar
Use the toy cannon on the cruise ship to defend yourselves from the bandits attacking the bar! Be careful since some bandits will attack from the 2nd floor of the bar.
You can also shoot the healing salves on the bar table to recover your health.
Defeat the Bandits
After defeating the enemies at the bar, the cruise ship will move forward. You will need to defeat the bandits that will appear while the Sheriff Alpaca shares the story of a legendary gunslinger.
Talk to the Sheriff
Disembark from the cruise ship and talk with Sheriff Alpaca. He will ask you to pass a message if you meet the legendary gunslinger.
Help the Sheriff Activate the Mechanism
Work with Chasca to defend Sheriff Alpaca while he sneaks into the bandits' hideout to open the door mechanism. Use the toy cannon to defeat the bandits in the hideout.
The challenge will end after the Traveler, and Chasca shoot down a total of 16 enemies.
Ride the Cruise Ship and Continue Your Pursuit
The bandits capture Sheriff Alpaca! Pursue the bandits deeper into their hideout in order to rescue him.
Find a Way to Lift the Barrier
To lift the barrier you need to get the key from a Cardboard Capybara and unlock Sheriff Alpaca's cage. You will find Sheriff Alpaca inside a building at the western side of the canyon.
How to Obtain the Key?
You need to defeat Butch Churdly and Slushdance Kid, who will appear when you approach an Exquisite Chest at the bottom of the canyon. After defeating them, lift the Carboard Capybara to get the Key.
You can also use the key to free the other captives.
Follow Sheriff Alpaca
After opening Sheriff Alpaca's cage, follow him to the top of the building. After a short cutscene, he will fall to the bottom of the canyon.
Find Sheriff Alpaca near the entrance of the building. After helping him up, continue following him for another cutscene.
Head to the Cavern
Go to the cavern at the top of the canyon that appeared after the explosion. You will find a table inside.
Investigate the Inside of the Cavern
Interact with the table and defeat the Tenebrous Mimesis: Anemo Hilichurl Rogue that will appear.
Leave the Cavern and Ride the Cruise Ship Again
You can leave the cavern by going through a hole in the wall. From the hole, glide to the cruise ship.
Continue Your Pursuit
Continue your pursuit of the bandits until you come face to face with El Capoctus Joquiratto.
Pursue El Capoctus Joquiratto
Defeat El Capoctus Joquiratto by shooting him with the cruise ship's toy cannon. Also shoot down the bombs that he will throw at you.
During the fight, also defeat the bandits that will appear. They will drop healing salves that you can shoot to restore your health.
Bring Down “El Capoctus Joquiratto”’s Hot Air Balloon
During the fight, part of the path will explode and you will fall into a lake. Continue shooting El Capoctus Joquiratto.
Use Soulsniper Sight to avoid getting overwhelmed by the bandits and the bombs!
Go to Where the the Hot Air Balloon Crashed on Top of the Mountain
Go to the top of the mountain where the hot air balloon crashed and face off with El Capoctus Joquiratto.
Return to the Cruise Ship
Board the cruise ship in order to return to Villa Guiztli. After the ride, you can finally take the commemorative picture for your Summer Travel Journal.

To Guiztli Ridge! is a subquest of the quest, The World Is Your Canvas, the 2nd quest of the the Sunspray Summer Resort quest chain. Join Bennett, Mualani, Chasca, and the Asha in trying out the different attractions in the Easybreeze Holiday Resort!
