Shiny Pokemon Cards Overview

Cards with Art of Shiny Pokemon

Shiny rarity cards are shiny versions of Pokemon cards featuring their alternate color variants.

These cards, even though they contain unique art, are played the same as their regular counterparts and bring no advantages upon using them in battle.

They also count towards the limit of two cards, which means that you cannot add a 2-Shiny Charizard ex card in your deck if you already have two regular Charizard ex cards.

Battle System Explained

Rare Cards in a Pack

1-Shiny cards have a 0.714% chance of appearing as the fourth card and a 2.857% when you open a booster pack. Meanwhile, 2-Shiny cards have a 0.333% chance of appearing as your fourth card and a 1.333% as your fifth card.
