thats why Natlan isnt as bad as people are saying imo. We learnt about ancient dragons more than before, even the architectures of the past! And theres angels connection too: theres essentially mass massacre of angels by pyro dragon. The pyro archonhood itself is so unique(unlike the rest). Btw the captain, one of the best harbingers, is introduced there, with sufficient backing in the story. That said, it still isnt my favourite region. In fact i dont have favorite. All are fair
ive to agree natlan chars can* deepen. For example, we met citlali, she got 500 years of potential to expand upon. Yet, she is just oldie who used to have rival friend. Ajaw can expanded upon too, one of pyro dragon kings creation, alongside other 12s(ineffa is one). Mavuika lore is fine. The problem for the most part is the rest of the characters. But when you look at other regions, it wasnt that different, dehya, kazuha, clorinde, etc. all just that, side characters.
Natlan tell us about ancient elemental dragons and their tech potential(they literally created space elevator!). We learnt about Nibelung, and pyro dragon. It also introduces captain, one of the best harbingers. It's stories actually more intertwined with Teyvat lore at large than Fontaine even which mainly dealt on local lore such as remuria(though from Neuvillette story we gotto no about the alien overlords and their invasion). It isnt not that out of touch from lore
Natlan was the same but with arguably worse story and characters. I'm going all in for Nod Krai and saved up my resources from the previous disappointing region
God I hope. Raiden has been powercrept to hell, so it'd be funny to see her make a comeback lol
i agree with what you’re saying but what the hell does being gay have to do with anything?? i thought we left using ts as a slur in '25. grow the f up omg
even if you pull one character from this new patch they’re not strictly confined to need pairing with other nod krai 5*, lauma for example brings back old characters like nilou and nahida. this is technically a filler patch for endgame players because it’s not one of the main 7 nations
My prediction is that they will "probably" give buffs to some Liyue and Inazuma characters in the future, just like the Hexeri faction from Mondstadt.
The Lunar Patch is indeed very unfriendly to f2p players, but on the other hand, they are also unlikely to do something that players hate with the consequence of decreasing the number of active players. That could be the reason they gave a little buff to the old characters with the hexerei faction for example. 🫣
their worst patch. Every nodkrai character needs another nodkrai character to function fully and half of the time it's 5 stars. The meta is definitely money hungry this time around. might be taking a really long break from the game.
It definitely sucks. I haven't gotten a single Nod-Krai 5 star (not for lack of trying, mind you) (but honestly at this point I'm just skipping all of them lmao) so I just stick to what I already have. I like to have fun. Meta slaving is gay. Go, my level 90 Tighnari. I believe in you.
All my favourite characters are ancient in comparison (Wanderer, Tighnari, Lyney), so that even getting their BiS supports won't let me reach close to the new restrictive meta teams. But even if I wanted to pull one new character for meta, guess what - they don't function without their desired teammates, which are also new 5 star characters I don't have. Kazuha, Nahida, Furina, Xilonen. All worthless now. And by when I manage to pull both new chars, they'll likely have been powercrept already.
