Pokemon Checkup is the phase at the end of a turn that checks Pokemon for status conditions in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket). Read on to learn more about Pokemon Checkup and how they work!

What is a Pokemon Checkup?
Checks the Status Condition of a Pokemon at the End of a Turn

 Poison |
Take 10 damage for every turn |
 Sleep |
Pokemon cannot attack or retreat Every turn, the player must do a coin toss. If it lands on Heads, the pokemon wakes up. |
 Paralysis |
Pokemon cannot attack or retreat Paralysis will be cured after 1 turn |
 Confusion |
Pokemon attacks have the chance of failing The player must do a coin toss if the Pokemon attacks. If it lands on Tails, the attack fails. |
 Burn |
Take 20 damage for every turn Every turn, the player must do a coin toss. If it lands on Heads, the pokemon heals from burn. |
Pokemon Checkup is the phase at the end of a turn where the game checks the status condition of the Pokemon in play. Depending on the condition, the player will be made to flip a coin, cure status effects, or take damage.
Pokemon Can be KO'd During Pokemon Checkup
If your Pokemon has low HP and is afflicted with a status condition like Burn or Poison, there is a possibility that your Pokemon can be knocked out during the Pokemon Checkup phase.

If your pokemon has been afflicted with multiple status effects, they will always be checked in the order above.
